Mr. DeSantis’ practice focuses on all aspects of insurance defense and coverage litigation. He has extensive experience representing insurance companies and their insureds with regard to insurance coverage opinions, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and intentional torts. Mr. DeSantis also handles business contracts and commercial litigation. In addition, Mr.DeSantis also represents individuals in matters involving wrongful death actions and brain injury/serious personal injury litigation. He has tried numerous jury trials involving negligence and intentional torts at the trial level and he has litigated numerous appeals. Mr. DeSantis’ practice is approximately fifty percent in Maryland and fifty percent in the District of Columbia. He resides in Arnold, MD. Mr. Hartel’s practice focuses on insurance defense litigation. He has extensive experience handling insurance defense cases for insurance companies, insurance coverage litigation, insurance fraud litigation, and state insurance administration matters. Mr. Hartel also represents insurance companies regarding first party insurance claims and regularly conducts examinations under oath at the request of insurance companies. He has tried in excess of 300 jury trials and has many years of experience arguing appellate matters. Mr. Hartel often serves as a private Arbitrator and Mediator on personal injury cases at the request of attorneys in litigation. Mr. Hartel’s practice is approximately 60% in Virginia, 30% in the District of Columbia, and 10% in Maryland. Mr. Hartel has received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.

Ms. Murray is a trial attorney and her practice focuses on all aspects of insurance defense litigation. She has extensive experience defending a variety of civil cases including premises liability, personal injury, construction, product liability and toxic tort matters. In addition to representing individual and commercial policyholders, Ms. Murray also represents insurance companies in state insurance administration matters, first party insurance claims, insurance coverage, and insurance fraud litigation. Ms. Murray has successfully tried many cases in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland, as well as effectively argued appellate matters.

Michael was raised in Calvert County, Maryland. He graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College in Maryland, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society. Michael went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. While in law school, Michael was an Associate Editor on the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender, and Class. During law school, Michael worked for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County and for the Circuit Court for Howard County. Upon graduation, Michael served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Marjorie L. Clagett, County Administrative Judge for the Circuit Court for Calvert County, where he gained experience performing complex legal research in a number of areas of law. Upon completing his clerkship, Michael entered private practice in Southern Maryland. He currently maintains a legal practice in insurance defense matters, including car accidents, premises liability, and dog bites. Michael is admitted to practice in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and the United States Federal Court for the District of Maryland.

Mr. Dorsey is a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and the University of Baltimore School of Law. Upon his admission to the Maryland Bar, he focused on plaintiff’s personal injury matters and general civil litigation. Mr. Dorsey brings his years of experience to the firm where handles personal injury and insurance defense matters.

Matt was born in Cecil County, Maryland. He attended Towson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science, before moving on to the University of Massachusetts School of Law for his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Matt was a Lead Editor on the UMass Law Review and an active member of the Sports, Entertainment, and Art Law Club. At UMass, Matt worked with various legal services, including the Mashpee Wampanoag Legal Services Clinic, where he gained invaluable experience in civil litigation.

Stephanie Yamoah was born in Washington, D. C. to Ghanaian immigrants, Stephen and Ellen Yamoah and then raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology/Anthropology at Towson University and then went on to earn a Juris Doctor at the University of Baltimore School of Law. She enjoys writing, learning languages, and studying the Bible as a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
