He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C., and soon after clerked for the Honorable Harold Murphy in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Following his clerkship, Bob was in private practice for many years before he landed at the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Georgia where he practiced as a Senior Assistant Attorney General. He focused primarily on litigation in defense of DOT until he was asked to manage the Workers Compensation section. Bob was highly revered by his peers at the AG's office because of his ability to think "outside the box" in his arguments. His artful thinking changed some of the laws currently in the tort system today.
