Christopher J. MacGillis is a founder and partner at MacGillis Law Group, LLC. Chris focuses his practice on personal injury and representing first responders, including police and firefighter unions. He has represented police officers, firefighters, labor unions, and those injured by the acts of others throughout the State of Wisconsin. Chris earned his law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. Prior to entering law school, Chris received his B.A. in Economics from Lawrence University. While at Lawrence, Chris was a member of the men’s basketball team, serving as team captain and earning all-academic and all-conference honors. He was recently inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Pius XI High School. Chris has tried cases in both state and federal court. Timothy J. Algiers

Paul V. Gagliardi

Paul V. Gagliardi is an of counsel attorney at MacGillis Law Group, LLC. He graduated from Boston College in 1974 and Marquette Law School in 1979. In 1979 he formed Gagliardi Law, serving people in need of civil litigation for over 45 years. Paul served a variety of positions in the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers including President. He has been named a Super Lawyer by Milwaukee Magazine. Paul has been a board-certified trial attorney since 2000. He has successfully appeared before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and obtained several seven-figure jury verdicts. He is also licensed in Illinois. Paul now focuses on professional malpractice matters. Paul has been active in his community serving on many non-profit boards including Kenosha Visiting Nurses for over 35 years and the Sharing Center for several years.

Lauren E. Raupp

Lauren E. Raupp is a Partner at MacGillis Law Group, LLC. Her practice is devoted exclusively to the representation of injured clients. She has represented individuals who have been seriously injured in a wide variety of situations, including automobile collisions, trucking collisions, motorcycle collisions, bicycle collisions, pedestrian collisions, premises accidents, and dog bites and attacks. She has also represented individuals who have been injured by unsafe products, including contaminated food. Additionally, she has represented individuals and families arising from nursing home abuse and neglect, and the wrongful death of a loved one. Lauren has specialized experience in representing first responders, including police and firefighters, who have been injured by the acts of others while on duty. Lauren was honored as 2022’s Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer by the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ). She was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2023 and 2024. She has also been selected by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the Top 10 Under 40 Attorneys in the State of Wisconsin. The National Trial Lawyers Organization has selected her as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in the State of Wisconsin. Marisol González Castillo

Attorney Marisol González Castillo is an attorney at MacGillis Law Group, LLC where she focuses on personal injury law. She strives to help her clients obtain the best compensation possible while ensuring that her clients understand the process and are comfortable with every step of the case. Before joining MacGillis Law Group, LLC Attorney González Castillo successfully represented clients in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, landlord/tenant, consumer, and unemployment compensation. In 2023 Attorney González Castillo’s leadership and dedication led the State Bar’s nominating committee to nominate her to run for the highest office within the organization, State Bar President. In addition to her nomination as State Bar President, Attorney González Castillo was also selected and participated in the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Leadership Summit and she has served as a visiting faculty in the Lawyering Skills and Professional Responsibilities classes at the University of Wisconsin Law school, among other things. Attorney González Castillo was awarded the 2022 Diversity and Inclusion Trail Blazer Award by the Wisconsin State Bar. During law school, Attorney González Castillo interned with the Wisconsin Innocence Project and the Chicago Legal clinic. In her last year of law school, she further led the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society as the Editor-in-Chief. Attorney González Castillo received the Bruce F. Beilfuss Memorial Award for her service to the law school, the Katherine Held Memorial Award for her service to the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society, and a distinction from the Pro Bono Society. As a transplant from Mexico City, Mexico, Attorney González Castillo understands the importance of communicating with clients in their own language and is pleased to be able to provide her representation in Spanish and English.

Ty J. Kluesner

Ty J. Kluesner is an attorney at MacGillis Law Group, LLC, where he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury law, representing the interests of injured clients. Ty earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Marquette Law Review. During his summers off from law school, Ty worked for MacGillis Law Group, LLC as a law clerk assisting the firm’s litigation team. Ty is also a proud Badger, having received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ty’s law career predates his decision to attend law school. Prior to entering law school, Ty worked at MacGillis Law Group, LLC as a litigation paralegal for over two years, where he gained significant experience working alongside attorneys and assisting clients. In this role, Ty became familiar with all phases of a personal injury case, from intake to trial. Ty’s time as a paralegal was formative in his decision to attend law school and further his work of helping people injured by the negligence of others.
