Carol Jones Dwyer
Attorney Carol Jones Dwyer is a lifelong Michigander and a resident of Hastings since 1993. She has over thirty years of experience in Michigan law, including family law, estate planning, real estate, personal injury, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. Following graduation from the University of Michigan Law School, she worked as a malpractice defense attorney and a staff attorney with the Michigan House of Representatives. Nathan E. Tagg
Nathan E. Tagg was born in Hastings, Michigan and grew up in the Barry County area. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1997 and in 2001 received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Olivet College. In 2004 he received his Juris Doctorate from the Howard University School of Law in Washington D.C. While attending Howard University, Mr. Tagg was awarded the Earl H. Davis Scholarship from the Olender Foundation and selected as a Lumbard Fellow by the Association of Alumni and Friends of J. Edward Lumbard. He also served a fellowship with the United States Attorney’s Office in Manhattan which services the Southern District of New York. After graduating from Howard, Mr. Tagg was admitted to practice law in the State of California. Shortly thereafter, he moved back to the Hastings area and was admitted to practice law in Michigan. Mr. Tagg has practiced in numerous counties throughout the State of Michigan in the areas currently focusing on estate planning, estate administration, business law, contracts, and succession planning. In 2011 Mr. Tagg was appointed by former Governor Rick Snyder to serve on the State of Michigan Board of Auctioneers. He is a graduate of the Consolidated Michigan Hospital Association Excellence in Governance Fellowship program and a 2008 graduate of Leadership Barry County. Mr. Tagg is committed to giving back to his community, having served in numerous capacities with several organizations during his career. He is a founding member of the Barry County Junior Golf Association and the current President of its Board of Directors. He serves on the Highpoint Community Bank Board of Directors. He is the current Treasurer for the Barry County Bar Association, having served in that capacity since 2008. He served on the Spectrum Health-Pennock Board of Directors from 2012-2019 and was the Chairman of that Board from 2018 to 2019. He served from 2008-2019 as the Vice President of the Green Gables Haven Domestic Violence Shelter. Mr. Tagg is a past President of the Hastings Kiwanis, past Vice Chairman of the Charlton Park Foundation, a former volunteer for the Woodland Athletic Association, former “Big Brother” for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings, served for several years on the Barry County United Way Allocations Committee, and served as a member of the Barry Community Foundation Investment and Governance Committees. He is also a youth coach for the South Christian Football and Lacrosse teams along with being a junior golf coach for the Professional Golf Association Junior Program at The Legacy at Hastings. He also is proud to be a part of the ownership of The Legacy at Hastings golf course. Mr. Tagg has been married to his beautiful wife, Rebecka (Duits), since 2004. They have three children and live in Barry County. He loves spending time with his wife and children and is also an avid golfer.

Steven G. Storrs
Steven G. Storrs was raised and attended public schools in Hastings, Michigan. After graduating from Hastings High School, he attended Central Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education with a business focus and a minor in art. Steven received a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Storrs held a full-time teaching position at Hastings High School where he also was the varsity boys’ basketball coach. From a young age through his time at law school, he worked at his family’s business, River Bend Golf Course, located in Hastings. Mr. Storrs is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Michigan providing wide-ranging legal services in the areas of custody, divorce, civil litigation, cannabis law and licensing, business law, contracts, criminal law, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. Mr. Storrs was elected in April 2019 to represent the 5th Circuit on the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. The Representative Assembly is the final policy-making body of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM). He is the current Vice President of the Barry County Bar Association. Mr. Storrs also serves as a member of Corewell Health - Pennock Community Board (formerly Spectrum Health), YMCA of Barry County, Hastings Educational Enrichment Fund (HEEF), and Barry County Junior Golf Association Board. Mr. Storrs resides in Hastings where he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Steven is diligent in his preparation and committed to his client’s best interest. He views his relationship with clients as both advocate and adviser. David H. Tripp
David H. Tripp was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan in 1952, graduated from Hastings High School in 1970, graduated from Michigan State University June 7, 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He received his Juris Doctor degree on June 9, 1978 from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan November 9, 1978 and has practiced in Hastings, Michigan ever since. He has practiced in District Courts, Circuit Courts, Probate Courts throughout Michigan as well as the Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. Tripp has also been licensed to practice in Federal District Courts in the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Business Organizations, Contracts, General Civil Litigation and a wide range of Real Estate experience. With Barry County having a multitude of lakes, Mr. Tripp’s practice includes extensive experience in property line disputes around lakes as well as Riparian Rights issues both in trial and in Appellate work. Mr. Tripp has also argued many cases in the Michigan Court of Appeals and some subsequent Michigan Supreme Court cases. This has resulted in many published and unpublished opinions. Jackie Baker
Jackie Baker grew up in a small town outside of Buffalo, New York. She chose Hastings, Michigan for her practice due to its small-town feel and commitment to revitalizing the downtown area, allowing her to work directly with clients on their cases. Her legal experience began in law school, participating in the Access to Justice legal clinic, which provided her with trial experience and practical legal knowledge.
