Paul D. Odegaard
Paul Odegaard, a North Dakota native, began his legal career in Montana in 1999. He graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota in 1994 and earned his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. After clerking for the North Dakota Supreme Court, he practiced civil litigation, focusing on personal injury and workers' compensation. In 2008, he started his own practice, which evolved into Odegaard Injury Lawyers in 2023, dedicated to representing victims of physical injuries or wrongful death, particularly in the Bakken oil fields. Anne Sherwood is a fourth-generation Montanan from Helena. She earned her Master's degree and J.D. with honors from the University of Montana. She received the American Bar Association’s Steiger Fellowship and Ms. JD Student Fellowship. Anne joined MSWD after law school and focuses her practice on consumer protection, employment, personal injury, intellectual property, and constitutional law. John Doubek
John Doubek earned his law degree from the University of Montana in 1976 after attending Carroll College. Early in his legal career, he handled over 80 trials and contested cases for the Montana Consumer Counsel. In 1978, John joined the law firm of Small & Hatch, which evolved into Doubek, Pyfer & Storrar, PLLP. Since 1981, he has exclusively represented plaintiffs, focusing on cases involving catastrophic injuries, including those caused by truck and car accidents, medical malpractice, workplace incidents, slips and falls, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injuries. He has earned widespread recognition, including multiple “Best Attorney in Helena” awards from the Helena Independent Record’s Best of Helena publication, most recently in 2021.
