Allen M. Ressler

Allen M. Ressler

Allen Ressler has been practicing personal injury law for more than four decades. His personal injury practice includes obtaining numerous verdicts and settlements in the seven-figure range. As a Washington personal injury lawyer for more than forty years, I’ve had the opportunity to represent clients in a wide range of cases. While some of my personal injury cases have resulted in large settlements and awards, my focus has never been about the dollars - it’s been about helping people get what is fair. In serious personal injury cases, the defendants and their insurance companies are often represented by teams of lawyers. Insurance companies aren’t interested in doing the right thing - they care only about paying out as little as possible, as late as possible. To help them avoid paying what they (or their clients) legitimately owe, they often hire high-priced lawyers to fight for them. While only one or two lawyers may appear in court, often there are many more lawyers behind the scenes. In some cases, insurance companies pay lawyers far more than what they could have paid the person injured to settle a case. This strategy may work well for them, as they know that if they drag out cases long enough, most of those injured will be forced to accept a low settlement because of their financial circumstances. Their strategies often include blaming the victim, questioning the legitimacy of injuries, and engaging legal tactics to avoid liability. Even for their own policyholders who have faithfully paid premiums for many years, insurance companies will often do whatever they think they can do to avoid paying a large claim. This is not right. The injured deserve fair compensation from those causing injury. Insurance policy holders deserve to be paid for legitimate claims. I work to make this happen.

Tim R. Tesh

Tim R. Tesh

Mr. Tesh devotes a substantial portion of his practice to the representation of those who have been seriously injured and the families of those who have suffered a wrongful death of a loved one due to the negligence of others. His practice areas include automobile, truck, and aviation accidents, physical and sexual abuse of children occurring as a result of the negligence of persons or entities charged with protecting them, civil rights violations, and other sexual assault. Many of his cases have resulted in awards in the seven-figure range. A family may have suffered the tragic death of a loved one. A breadwinner may have been severely hurt in an auto accident. A child may have been sexually or physically abused while in foster care. In these situations, clients need, and they deserve, experienced attorneys who will not only advocate aggressively on their behalf, but who will take the time to listen to their story so that a strong case can be developed. They need an attorney who they can trust. At our firm, we have achieved a number of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of our clients. More importantly, our goal is to attain for every client the full measure of damages for their case and the injuries that they suffered. Achieving the full measure of damages usually requires painstaking case development, often involving experts (such as accident reconstructionists) and medical personnel, as well as a single-minded commitment to advancing a case over the course of many months. This is the only way to position a case for a fair settlement through negotiation, or an effective presentation in front of a jury. At trial, we will seek to recover every penny of damages and compensation to which our clients are owed from all those whom we believe are liable. We understand how wrongful death and traumatic injury have affected and altered the lives of our clients and their families. If you retain our firm, you will have a team of attorneys in your corner fighting for you at every step, while you can focus on recovering from injury or rebuilding your life. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you for a free consultation if you or a family member has been seriously injured, of if a loved one has been killed, due to the wrongful actions of others.

Richard H. Adler

Richard H. Adler

When asked, “What kind of work do you do?” I respond, “I give voice to people who’ve been wronged or harmed by someone, especially when that someone or their insurance company doesn’t make it right.” Sure, it’s a longer answer than just saying, “I’m an attorney,” but it gets to the heart of why I’m passionate about this work, which is much more meaningful. It’s often said that if you do what you love, success will follow. As the founding principal and partner at Adler Giersch, I’ve been doing what I love for more than 40 years of practice, since graduating from Georgetown Law. Injury law is second nature to me. Part of my personal mission has been to bring a better standard of legal care to the Pacific Northwest; bridging deep legal and medical knowledge, rooted in great service and outstanding results. I’ve brought together a talented team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff who are all fiercely committed to the same values and specialize in traumatic injuries like brain, spinal cord and more. Together, with our clients, we’ve become like a big, extended family, changing lives and even changing laws.
