Sara E. Barnett
Sara E. Barnett is a partner with Spragins, Barnett & Cobb, and has been practicing law for over 20 years. Ms. Barnett joined Spragins, Barnett & Cobb in 2001, where she practices with her father, Charles Barnett and her younger brother, Chas Barnett, who is an associate in the firm. The Barnetts often work together on cases as a team. Sara started her practice as a trial lawyer but now focuses her practice on elder law, estate planning, and family law. Sara is dedicated to the success of the Firm’s clients and knows that many are going through some of most difficult times in their lives. Jeffrey P. Boyd
A native of Amite, Louisiana, Jeffrey P. Boyd graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1990. In 1991, he completed his Masters of Business Administration also at the University of Mississippi. He then attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1994. Mr. Boyd began his law career with the insurance defense firm of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan in its Chattanooga, Tennessee office. In 1997, he left to become a partner in his own firm, Allen, Kopet & Boyd, PLLC. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama and Tennessee as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western districts of Tennessee. He is a member of the Alabama and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Board of Governors for the Tennessee Trial Lawyers’ Association.

Charles H. Barnett, III
Charles H. Barnett, III has forty-two years of civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts. His litigation experience spans a wide variety of areas, including eminent domain, real estate litigation, commercial litigation, products liability, personal injury, premises liability, employment discrimination, and professional liability. He has a keen interest and extensive experience in the field of eminent domain. He began trying eminent domain cases as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee within a few months of graduation from law school. He has handled cases involving condemnation of property for highways, streets, bridges, pipelines, transmission lines, reservoirs, and universities. He now routinely litigates cases against the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Valley Authority, municipalities, and counties. The cases he has litigated concern all types of properties including commercial, industrial, residential, and farm property in both State and Federal court.

Ricky L. Boren
Ricky Boren was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. He graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee and then attended Law School at the University of Tennessee, beginning his practice in personal injury in Jackson, Tennessee on November 1, 1979. He previously served as the President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and is currently a member of the Board of Delegates of the American Association for Justice. He was selected as a member of the Tennessee Judicial Foundation and as a Super Lawyer. Mr. Boren has been named as one of the top ten plaintiffs personal injury lawyers in the State of Tennessee and is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell Association.

Teresa A. Luna
Teresa A. Luna is a Member in the Spragins, Barnett & Cobb Litigation Group. Although her practice is broad, her key areas of concentration are personal injury, commercial litigation, employment law, estate planning, education law, and municipal law.

Samuel L. Ivy
Samuel L. Ivy is a law partner at Ivy & Ivy Law Firm, PLLC, co-founded with his father, Victor L. Ivy. He specializes in catastrophic personal injury cases, including wrongful death, and has recovered millions for clients. Sam was mentored by J. Houston Gordon and has extensive experience in complex product liability and automobile accident cases. He is a member of several professional associations and has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiffs' attorney by the National Trial Lawyers Association for 5 consecutive years, a Top 10 Trucking Trial Lawyer for 2023, and a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2023.
Spencer R. Barnes
