Nikki Ramirez-Smith

Nikki Ramirez-Smith is the founder of Ramirez-Smith Law. As an immigrant, she understands the unique situations faced by immigrants. She assists clients with civil litigation, family law, and immigration cases, known for her attention to detail and dedication. Nikki has participated in Appeals, Habeus Petitions, Writs of Mandamus, Hague Convention litigation, and 1983 Civil Rights Claims. Neal Dougherty

Neal Dougherty heads Ramirez-Smith Law’s removal defense department, representing clients in immigration proceedings, including before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He has presented novel legal questions and filed civil actions against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Neal is passionate about community service, volunteering with local organizations and at the US-Mexico border. He is fluent in Spanish.

Mariella Diaz

Mariella Diaz is the humanitarian-based immigration lead attorney at Ramirez Smith Law, specializing in humanitarian-based immigration, family-based immigration, and removal defense. She has represented families before EOIR, BIA, and the Ninth Circuit of Appeals, and USCIS. Fluent in Spanish, she is deeply committed to community service and actively volunteers with legal and local initiatives.

Talia Burnett

Talia Burnett is an expert in immigration law, specializing in family-based immigration matters, DACA, and U-Visas. She has experience in transactional employment-based immigration, nonimmigrant visas, labor certifications, and removal defense. Talia is known for her meticulous preparation and exemplary advocacy, whether in trial or in the process of obtaining permanent residency and citizenship.

Lary G. Sisson is a criminal defense attorney with 20 years of experience, having served as a prosecutor for nearly 15 years before becoming a defense attorney. His extensive experience as a prosecutor gives him a unique perspective in criminal defense cases.
