Marcos Garza
Mr. Garza is a native of East Tennessee. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He obtained his Masters of Science from the University of Tennessee and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Marcos M. Garza of the Garza Law Firm, PLLC is best known for his defense of those accused of DUI, criminal charges and for his representation of individuals who have suffered serious personal injury. Richard E. Ladd, Jr.
Rick Ladd is an Officer in PennStuart’s Bristol, Tennessee office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance Defense and Professional Liability practice group. He has represented clients in the TriCities and Southwest Virginia for more than 30 years. As a trial and appellate attorney, Rick has tried numerous cases involving medical malpractice, professional liability, commercial law, railroad law, criminal law, and personal injury. He has successfully represented clients in appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court, the 4th and 6th Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeal, and the Appellate and Supreme Courts of Tennessee and Virginia. Rick is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator and represents health care providers and lawyers before various regulatory boards. Prior to joining PennStuart, Rick served on active duty in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Cameron L. Hyder
Cameron L. Hyder is a native of Carter County with extensive experience as a litigator, Assistant State Attorney General, adjunct professor, and Legal Director of the Appeals and Hearing Division in the TN Department of Human Services. He has argued over 550 cases before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court. Mr. Hyder advises non-profit organizations and corporate boards and has been featured on ABC’s 20/20, HLN’s Nancy Grace, and in James Patterson’s True Crime Thrillers novel 'Murder Thy Neighbor'. He practices in family law, criminal law, estate planning, personal injury law, and social security disability.

Philip La Nasa
Philip La Nasa, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduated from the University of Mississippi and earned both his MBA and JD degrees from Loyola University in 1995. He served as a law clerk and judicial law clerk before co-founding a law firm in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, he moved to Tennessee in 2007 and has practiced in 62 of Tennessee’s 95 counties. He is a member of the Tennessee State Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association, and Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and was recognized by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2023.

G. Turner Howard III
G. Turner Howard III earned his BA at Tulane University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He also holds a Master’s and Doctor of Divinity from Andrews Theological Seminary and Columbia Theological Seminary. A veteran of the US Army in Vietnam, he is an accomplished athlete, inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Tulane University. He was on the U.S. Junior Davis Cup Team and received a bronze medal in cycling in the U.C.I. World Championships in Austria. With over twenty years of experience, he focuses on personal injury.

Wade W. Massie
Wade Massie is an Officer in PennStuart’s Abingdon, Virginia office and Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group. He has handled some of the firm’s most difficult and complicated cases, including class actions, product liability, pipeline condemnations, and strike violence and misconduct. He has been lead counsel in over 200 cases in federal court in the Western District of Virginia and has appeared in over 20 different state circuit courts in Virginia. Wade has also tried cases in state and federal courts in West Virginia and Tennessee, where he is also licensed. He has briefed and argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and successfully represented clients before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the Court of Appeals of Tennessee. He was selected to be a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2000.

Andrew Farmer is an experienced trial lawyer and legislator who founded Andrew Farmer Law in 2008.
