Tyler Davis

Attorney Tyler Davis is skilled in many areas of the law. He has substantial experience in family law (including divorce, adoption, juvenile law, and the termination of parental rights), estate planning (including wills, trusts, probate, and real estate cases), and in cases that involve federal law and the federal courts. Tyler also handles criminal cases in both state and federal courts, FIRST STEP Act litigation, traffic ticket defense, debt collection cases, and DUI defense. He resolved some of the most complicated legal issues and helped scores of clients throughout the State of Tennessee to take their cases all the way - and to win.

Alan Pfeuffer

Attorney Alan Pfeuffer is a native of New York with extensive background in law and law enforcement. He graduated magna cum laude from Capital University Law School in 2000. Prior to law school, he had a twenty-year career in law enforcement, serving as a sheriff’s deputy and Chief of Police. He worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio for over a decade, handling hundreds of federal criminal cases. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Tennessee state courts, U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He specializes in federal criminal law, including narcotics trafficking, money laundering, bank robbery, tax evasion, wire and mail fraud, firearms violations, First Step Act litigation, death penalty cases, civil forfeiture actions, and federal appeals.

Matt Courteau

Attorney Matt Courteau is a Tennessee native who is proud to work alongside and demand justice for other Tennessee residents. He is a Roane County High School graduate, who went on to graduate from Tennessee Technological University. He later earned his law degree from the prestigious University of Georgia School of Law. Matt Courteau returned to Tennessee to practice law at his very own practice located in the East Tennessee area. He assists clients primarily in Knox, Roane, Loudon, and Morgan counties.

Michael Stooksbury

Michael Stooksbury is a second-year student at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in Knoxville. He is currently an Associate Editor of the LMU Law Review. Michael holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Tennessee Tech University. He spent this past summer as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Society of East Tennessee. He is a Roane County native and plans to practice in the area after law school.

Lora Morris

Legal secretary Lora Morris works out of our Kingston offices. Lora was born and raised in Roane County, where she graduated with honors from Roane County High School in 2008. Before she came to the Davis Law Firm, Lora Morris worked in the healthcare field for thirteen years. She enjoys helping the attorneys in our Kingston offices, and she particularly enjoys working with and helping our clients.
