Davis Haines

Davis Haines

Davis Haines was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in North Shore, an industrial suburb on Houston’s east side. His father was a millwright and turbine mechanic. Davis grew up assuming that all men went to work in jeans and work boots. He learned the value of hard work early in life. Davis graduated from North Shore High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Upon returning to Texas, he immediately began attending classes at Houston Community College. He eventually earned an academic scholarship, which allowed him to complete his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of St. Thomas. Davis worked full time for a global oilfield services company while pursuing his undergraduate degree. He successfully balanced work, school, and family obligations to earn several honors while studying at the University of St. Thomas. He earned his degree, Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors), and was chosen by his professors as the “Outstanding Graduate” of his section. Davis then resigned from the oilfield services company and enrolled in law school. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and was licensed to practice law by the State of Texas. He began his career by working briefly for a very aggressive personal injury attorney in Houston. He was not satisfied with the level of service and respect the firm was providing to its clients. So, he decided to start his own personal injury and car wreck firm. This allowed him the freedom to practice law his own way. He firmly believes that developing personal relationships with his clients makes him a better lawyer. By getting to know his clients, Davis is able to understand the hardships his clients endure. Davis believes that a personal injury lawyer is better equipped when he knows who and what he is fighting for. Davis’ cases have comprised industrial injuries, maritime injuries, premise liability injuries, toxic exposure injuries, daycare abuse injuries, dangerous/defective product injuries, medical malpractice, wrongful death, wrongful termination, car accidents, and commercial vehicle accidents.
