JOSEPH P. TUNSTALL

Joseph P. Tunstall is a trial lawyer at O’Malley Tunstall, PC, with extensive experience in personal injury, vehicle accident, slip, trip and fall, Social Security, and workers’ compensation cases. He has tried over 100 cases in North Carolina Superior Courts and handles cases at federal and state levels, including the NC Supreme Court. He is a partner at the firm, joining in 2000 and becoming a partner in 2006. He is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and American Association for Justice.

MATTHEW SULLIVAN

Matthew Sullivan is licensed to practice in all North Carolina State Courts, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses on personal injury, tractor-trailer accidents, industrial accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and workers’ compensation. He is a member of several bar associations and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Board of Governors. He earned his B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University and his J.D. from Campbell University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Review.

David J. Fillippeli, Jr.

David J. Fillippeli, Jr.'s practice is concentrated in litigation with an emphasis on criminal, domestic, and personal injury law. He is licensed to practice before all North Carolina State Courts, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He has been recognized on the North Carolina Super Lawyers list since 2009 and as an American Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2010.

CHELSEA RAGAN

Chelsea Ragan joined O'Malley Tunstall, PC in 2023 as a personal injury attorney. She previously worked as an Assistant Public Defender and was a partner at a large personal injury firm. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was named a South Carolina Bar Foundation Public Interest Fellow. Chelsea is known for her client communication and advocacy.

Eric Doggett

Eric Doggett has an extensive career managing global technology businesses before obtaining his J.D. from Wake Forest University. He focuses on civil litigation and was a member of the Trial Bar, Moot Court Board, and National and Spong Moot Court teams, receiving the Order of the Barristers. He also holds a B.Sc. in Physics from NCSU and an EMBA from Duke. Eric is licensed to practice in North Carolina, Georgia, and Washington, D.C., and is admitted to various U.S. Courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a registered patent attorney. His practice areas include employment law, personal injury law, business disputes, and civil rights cases. He is active in the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and is a past chair of its Employment Law section.

Stuart L. Stroud

Stuart received his B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law. While in law school, Stuart was a member of Delta Theta Phi, a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s Trial team, and was inducted into the Order of Old Kivett for excellence in Regional or National Advocacy competition. Stuart is a native of Lenoir County, a graduate of South Lenoir High School, and an Eagle Scout. Stuart continues serving Lenoir County in Scouting and with the United Way. He is married and has one daughter. Stuart is a Certified Superior Court Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and is admitted to practice before all North Carolina State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Molly M. Schertzinger

Molly M. Schertzinger is a North Carolina personal injury attorney who also serves as Vice President and Director of Operations at Riddle & Riddle Injury Lawyers. She has been with the firm since 2011. Working out of both our Goldsboro and Jacksonville offices, Molly focuses her practice on personal injury claims involving auto accidents as well as premises liability matters, including dog bites and slip and fall accidents.
