Christophe L. Faucheux

Christophe L. Faucheux began his legal career in 2012 working as a paralegal with his father's law office. In 2018, he launched his firm - The Law Office of Chris Faucheux. Chris attended St. Charles Catholic High School in LaPlace, LA, and he graduated from Lutcher High School in Lutcher, LA. Chris graduated honors Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans. Chris then received his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Chris deeply cares about the communities he serves. Kathryn W. Becnel

Kathryn Weekley Becnel, a native of Louisiana, attended St. Martin’s Episcopal School and the University of Alabama. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law. Kathryn began her legal career as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans, working in the Civil Division. During her ten years as an AUSA, her practice included defending tort cases, handling social security matters and immigration litigation, and representing numerous federal agencies such as HUD, the FBI, and FEMA. During this time, Kathryn’s practice was strictly limited to federal court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Kathryn is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the federal courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Association of Justice. She has been admitted to practice law in Colorado since 2008 and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Pitkin County Bar Association. Since joining Becket in the law practice in 2006, her varied practice has included personal injury, workers’ compensation claims, social security claims, and DWI cases. In 2024, Kathryn was appointed to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, where she plays an important role in overseeing and regulating gaming operations in the state. Kathryn and Becket have two adult children, whom she considers her greatest achievements. She cherishes watching them grow into remarkable individuals and continues to support and guide them with love and pride.

Daniel “Becket” Becnel

Daniel “Becket” Becnel was born in Baton Rouge and raised in the River Parishes and the New Orleans area. He graduated from St. Martin’s Episcopal School and Tulane University. He attended Tulane and Loyola University Schools of Law and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. Upon graduating, Becket returned to the River Parishes to begin his law career, dedicated to serving the people of his hometown community with excellent representation in civil and criminal cases. He was a member of the River Parishes Indigent Defender Board from 1991-2004 and served as President of the River Parish Young Lawyers from 1992-1998. In 1998, he was elected as an American Bar Association Delegate to the National Conference. Becket also served as the Young Lawyer Delegate to the Louisiana State Bar Association from 1992-1994 and as Delegate for the 40th Judicial District Court to the LSBA from 1996-2000. Becket has 34 years of experience in State and Federal Court practice. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has tried over 30 jury trials and over 550 Bench trials in the State of Louisiana. Specifically, he has tried over 15 jury trials and 150 Bench trials in St. John Parish alone. Becket has tried more jury and judge trials than any other lawyer in St. John Parish. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, and the Louisiana Association for Justice (LAJ). He has been admitted to practice law in Colorado since 2008 and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Pitkin County Bar Association. In 2024, Becket was appointed by Governor Jeff Landry to the Louisiana Sports and Exposition Board. Becket is an avid sports fan, hunter, and fisherman. He and his wife and partner, Kathryn, have an adult son and daughter, whom they are incredibly proud of and remain very close with.

Donald D’Aunoy Jr. is a Louisiana native and the owner/operator of the Law Office of Donald D’Aunoy Jr., LLC.
