Christopher F. Burger
Mr. Burger is a trial attorney who brings those skills and experiences to prosecuting and defending claims, as well as counseling his clients to help keep them out of courtrooms, hearing rooms and losses. As a Kansas Country Lawyer, Mr. Burger handles the complex and simple, whether failed curtain wall or leaky basement foundation, uncompensated cardinal change or a home costing more than expected, the legal rights for a high voltage transmission line right of way or the gate to the back pasture, a manipulated bid shopped through the demands of an owner or an arithmetic error, predecessor activities affecting the critical path or a home that was not “ready for Christmas,” or any breached duty or contract resulting in economic loss, property damage or personal injury. He has been on the forefront of Kansas construction and real property law, being in the lead role in key Kansas cases concerning damages, delays, bids, defects, right of way, and settlements. Before joining Stevens & Brand LLP in Lawrence, Mr. Burger served as an Assistant Attorney General under Carla Stovall, where he handled all of the State of Kansas’ construction litigation and represented the state in a variety of other disputes, saving the state from losses and recovering the damages caused by others. His practice is broadened through his continuing experience, his role as Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Kansas’ School of Law where he taught construction law and litigation, his involvement in the community, his presentations at CLE’s and seminars, and his family.

Kana R. Roller
Kana Roller is an attorney practicing in the area of litigation, and focuses her litigation work in personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance litigation. These include claims like motor vehicle collisions, bicycle accidents, animal attacks, (civil) sexual assault cases, medical malpractice, product liability, insurance coverage disputes, and claims against insurers for failing to properly defend and indemnify their insureds when faced with claims against them. The entirety of Kana's professional, legal career has been focused on working with victims who have endured at the fault of another, and she is driven to help individuals in these cases to get justice and accountability against the wrongdoers. Gary D. White, Jr.
Gary D. White, Jr. is a dedicated and experienced litigator who has been fighting for the rights of Kansans for more than 30 years. He focuses his practice on automobile negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death, and a wide range of personal injury cases. A proud Topeka native, Gary has spent most of his life in the area and is deeply committed to serving his community. After earning both his undergraduate and law degrees from Washburn University, he dedicated his career to helping people who have been wrongfully injured. His leadership and skill are widely recognized-he is a past president of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and has been consistently honored as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers, among other regional and local accolades. Outside the office, Gary enjoys traveling and is an avid Wildcats fan.

Brennan P. Fagan
Brennan focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, professional malpractice, personal injury, real estate and other civil litigation. As a business owner himself, Brennan works regularly with other entrepreneurs and has a unique insight into the challenges they face. Brennan has particular experience litigating complex disputes among businesses, shareholders and investors. His trial experience is extensive, having tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in multiple jurisdictions. Brennan has successfully secured eight figure resolutions in various types of disputes. Brennan was raised in Topeka, Kansas, and graduated the University Of Kansas School Of Law in 2001. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas with his family and enjoys golfing and following local sports teams.

Sally G. Kelsey
Sally G. Kelsey is an experienced attorney practicing in Kansas for over 32 years, focusing on personal injury, workers' compensation, and criminal defense. Adam Mack
Adam Mack was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and raised in the Great Falls, Montana area. In his youth he developed a love for the outdoors that still persists to this day. He enjoys adventure and likes to try new hobbies when he can find the time. The most important part of his life is his family; he loves spending time with his children. He is actively involved in his church and serves there on a weekly basis. Before starting a family, Adam also served a two‐year mission for his church in Houston, Texas. From his youth Adam was drawn to the law and naturally took on the role of an advocate in many different situations throughout his life. Adam’s passion for advocacy led him to earn a B.A. in Social Work from Brigham Young University ‐ Idaho. During Adam’s experience studying and practicing as a social worker, Adam’s passion for advocacy led to him receiving his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law here in Topeka, KS. Adam’s practice areas consist of bankruptcy and personal injury law. He also has experience representing clients in estate planning, probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and family law matters. The broad and varied legal areas in which Adam has practiced has given him a unique scope of legal knowledge. Likewise, as the focus of his practice has become more specific over the years, Adam has deepened his understanding of those practice areas he has focused on. The combination of the wide range of experience and the increasingly narrowed focus of Adam’s practice allows him to navigate the web of intersecting legal doctrines that become intertwined in the more specific areas of practice, such as understanding the often‐complicated interplay between divorce and bankruptcy. Jerry R. Palmer founded the Palmer Law Group’s preceding firm in 1980.
