Ben Boston

A second generation attorney, Ben returned home to his native Lawrence County in April 1986 to practice law with his father, William E. Boston (1926-2000). Since that time, Ben has carried on the Boston legacy and strong reputation within the legal community. He is not afraid to take on insurance companies, corporations, or big Nashville defense firms. Ben has extensive experience in state and federal courts, trying numerous jury trials and obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts, while also successfully negotiating and mediating large settlements, brokering real estate and business transactions, and defending clients who have been wrongfully charged with a crime. Ben will help you develop a winning strategy, whether personal injury, employment discrimination, or complex business disputes. He is rated by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent attorney and certified as a specialist in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Ben is also committed to his community, chairing the Lawrence County Education Foundation and serving as City Judge for Lawrenceburg. He has raised four successful adult children (two third generation lawyers) with his wife, Shelley, and is the proud grandfather to nine grandchildren.

Wyatt Boston

Born and raised in Lawrenceburg, Wyatt is a third generation trial attorney and focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal law, social security disability, real estate/property disputes and probate/estate matters. He earned his J.D. at the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. While at UT, Wyatt gained valuable criminal experience with the Knox County District Attorney’s Office and received the CALI Excellence For The Future Award. Wyatt works to ensure that you understand the nature of your case, the rights afforded to you, and the best way to achieve your desired outcome. He is a member of the Lawrence County and Tennessee Bar Association. Wyatt serves as Judge for the City of Ethridge, is on the Board of Directors for the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and is on the board for the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Moot Court.

Wayne Hairrell

Wayne Hairrell began his legal career with NASA's chief counsel office in 1967, but soon learned he preferred helping people on a daily basis to rocket science and returned to Lawrence County in 1979 to practice with Locke, Holtsford, & Hairrell. Wayne served in the United States Navy and is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee College of Law. A talented mandolin picker and unmatched gardener, Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge to the office and focuses primarily on probate work and personal injury cases. Wayne becomes bhd’s senior most attorney, of counsel, and looks forward to continuing to serve the needs of his clients.

Jim White

A 25 year United States Navy Veteran retiring as Captain, Jim White served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 22nd Judicial District for 37 years, prosecuting thousands of cases during his tenure prior to joining bhd’s criminal defense team. Jim is a member of the Kiwanis Club, VFW, American Legion, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star, Board of Directors of the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts, Tennessee and Lawrence County Bar Association, First United Methodist Church and chief hamburger cook of the LCHS baseball team. He was also treasurer for Lawrenceburg Babe Ruth's committee that organized and led three successful World Series in Lawrenceburg. Jim graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1974 and directs bhd’s criminal defense practice, of counsel.

Cameron Hoffmeyer

A Loretto native, Cameron obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and J.D. from Vanderbilt University before returning to Lawrence County to practice law. Cameron focuses primarily on civil litigation, handling cases in both state and federal courts. Whether its standing up for employees who have been terminated or treated unfairly, fighting for spouses going through a difficult divorce, or protecting your interests following an accident or injury, his knowledge and professionalism ensure clients receive the care they expect and the results they want. Cameron also serves as Judge for the City of Loretto, is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, and is a TBALL alum.
