Nivea A. Ohri

Richard J. Steinmetz, Jr. is a partner at Baldwin, Briscoe, Steinmetz & Ohri, P.C., heading the personal injury practice. His expertise includes personal injury, civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord-tenant, real property, business disputes, and Maryland appellate cases. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University (BA, 1997) and Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (JD, 2001).

Tucker Clagett
Tucker Clagett is a partner at Southern Maryland Law and head of the personal injury and workers’ compensation practices, also managing civil litigation. He is an experienced litigator, winning jury trials and successfully litigating appeals in Maryland’s Appellate Courts. He has been with the firm for 30 years and was a judicial law clerk prior to that. Tucker is active in community non-profits and is a lifelong Marylander.

Christopher T. Longmore
Chris is a firm partner whose practice areas include: Complex civil litigation, Estate planning/probate matters, Zoning/land use, Related real estate matters. Chris’ litigation practice focuses primarily on business and partnership disputes, construction-related contract disputes, and other real estate-related matters. He also represents clients in personal injury matters. Chris handles many estate planning and probate matters, including drafting of wills and trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and estate and trust administration. Chris regularly appears before the St. Mary’s County Planning Commission and the St. Mary’s County Board of Appeals on all ranges for zoning and development projects, including large-scale commercial and residential development, critical area and other variances, conditional use approvals, and zoning map amendments. Chris received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1997, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the American Criminal Law Review, Order of the Coif, and a Writing Law Fellow. Chris served as a law clerk for the Honorable William M. Nickerson, District Judge, in the United States District Court of Maryland immediately after law school. Chris joined Dugan, McKissick, and Longmore in 2000, after serving as an associate attorney at Hogan Lovells (formerly Hogan & Hartson, LLC). A graduate of St. Mary’s Ryken High School, Chris is involved in many community and service activities, including the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce, where he currently serves as Chair of the Government Affairs Committee.
Charles “Chuck” Bongar
Charles “Chuck” Bongar is Of Counsel at Andrews, Bongar, Gormley & Clagett, having joined the firm in 1977. He was instrumental in expanding the firm beyond real estate into general and personal injury practice, eventually taking over the real estate department. He taught real estate courses at the University of Maryland and Charles County Community College, and served as former General Counsel for the Southern Maryland Board of Realtors.
