Lina Yoo
Lina was born and raised in San Jose, California to Korean immigrant parents and is fluent in the Korean language. She attended the University of California San Diego, where she obtained a degree in Communications. Lina went on to work as a litigation paralegal for a boutique personal injury law firm in the South Bay, where she developed her passion for fighting to get justice for the “little guy.” Lina attended law school at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time in law school, Lina served as the Chief Technical Editor for the University of the Pacific Law Review, Volume 55 and worked as a legal writing Teaching Assistant. Lina also won three awards for obtaining the top grade in each of her legal writing classes and received the Stauffer Charitable Trust Writing Competition Award. During her final year of law school, Lina served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Troy L. Nunley at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. During her free time, Lina enjoys practicing Pilates, working out, and spending time with her family and two Yorkshire Terriers. Lina also enjoys watching true crime documentaries and trying new restaurants with her partner.

Alec Barcelos
Alec is proud to be part of a team that advocates for individuals and families in his hometown of Hilmar, the greater Central Valley, and communities across California. He earned his B.A. in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was also an oarsman on the UCSB Crew team. Alec went on to attend Santa Clara University School of Law, where he distinguished himself academically and in leadership roles. He served as Managing Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review Vol. 64, competed in Honors Moot Court, and earned multiple awards for academic excellence, including two Witkin Awards for Legal Research and Writing and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mergers and Acquisitions. Alec was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2024. Committed to giving back to the community that raised him, Alec returned to Hilmar after law school to represent clients with honesty, integrity, and compassion. His upbringing, with a teacher for a mother and a police officer for a father, instilled in him the value of service and the importance of protecting others. Cassidy Jensen
Cassidy was born and raised in a small town, American Falls, Idaho. She moved to California in 2012 to attend Chapman University, where she obtained a degree in political science. While in school, Cassidy worked as the student Interfaith Center President and enjoyed doing extensive work with students and community members of all religions. She competed as a member of Chapman University’s Nationals Forensic team, where she won both regional and national awards. She was named Senior of the Year in 2016 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Cassidy went on to attend BYU Law School in Provo, Utah. While in law school, Cassidy was able to work for law firms in both Utah and Hong Kong. She worked with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Utah and California, receiving both the Wiley W. Manuael Award for Pro Bono Legal Services by the California Bar Association and the Outstanding Service Award by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. Prior to joining Silva Injury Law, Cassidy practiced Family Law at McCormick Barstow. Cassidy is certified as a sexual trauma responder and has enjoyed volunteering with various organizations which assist and aid victims of sexual and domestic violence. Her own experience as a victim of sexual assault has shaped her life in many ways and fuels her passion to advocate and fight for survivors of abuse and violence.
