Eric Steiden is the owner and founder of Steiden Law Offices. He is a bankruptcy attorney with 30 years of experience, and thousands of successful bankruptcy filings in both Ohio and Kentucky. His strong academic background includes a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, where he also received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 1994. This education, along with his considerable real-world experience, can be an asset when approaching complex bankruptcy issues. Eric Steiden is actively involved in the legal community, having presented at various bankruptcy law seminars and taught other attorneys about bankruptcy law. In addition to bankruptcy cases, Eric Steiden also represents individuals who have been hurt in an accident due to another person or business’s negligence. In his spare time, Eric Steiden enjoys music and plays the trumpet (and piano). He is a 30-year music veteran and has performed shows locally and nationally.
Nate Kohler
Nate Kohler has been practicing bankruptcy law for over nine years, and he brings a wealth of bankruptcy knowledge to his clients with experience as both Debtor’s and Creditor’s counsel. Throughout his career, Nate has represented both Debtors and Creditors in complex bankruptcy litigation, including defective liens, preference issues, tax debt dischargeability, and inheritance issues. Nate’s scope of representation includes representing individuals in basic Chapter 7 cases to representing large lending institutions in complex Chapter 11 work-outs. Nate’s understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and the interplay between Debtor’s and Creditor’s rights uniquely positions him to navigate complex bankruptcy issues with skill. Prior to joining Steiden Law Offices, Nate practiced law in Louisville, KY, with the Law Offices of Julie Ann O’Bryan, P.C., and he practiced creditor’s rights law exclusively with the law firms Mapother & Mapother, P.S.C., and Fenton & McGarvey, P.S.C.. Prior to practicing law, Nate was a member of the Army Reserve from 1997 to 2005.
Daniel Zegarski
With over 15 years of legal experience, Daniel Zegarski is an attorney that clients can trust to handle their important bankruptcy matters with an eye for detail and a dedication to thoroughly addressing all of their concerns. Prior to joining Steiden Law Offices, Daniel worked as a shareholder with Minnillo and Jenkins as well as a founder of Zegarski & Ice Co., LPA. Throughout his career, Daniel has handled complex financial situations, including mortgage issues, inheritance matters, and sales commission rights in bankruptcy cases. His knowledge of bankruptcy issues and experience in addressing them enables him to handle complex and difficult situations with skill. Daniel’s commitment to the stressful issues faced by those facing bankruptcy extends beyond court. He has lectured numerous times at seminars related to bankruptcy law and procedure. He also co-founded an association of bankruptcy lawyers to address the issues surrounding new reforms regarding federal bankruptcy law. Daniel has experience appearing before the US. Bankruptcy Court, the U.S. District Court, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, as well as representing clients before Ohio trials, appellate courts, and the Ohio Supreme Court.
