James M. Connolly

For the last 30 years, Jim has exclusively represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters including wrongful death, medical and dental malpractice, product liability, and strict liability as well as all types of automobile cases. He has argued cases both to the Connecticut Supreme Court and the Appellate Court. Jim has represented the Standing Committee on Bar Admissions and has been a presenter at the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Annual Evidence Seminar. As a Civil Trial Specialist since 1996, attorney Connolly is one of less than 100 Connecticut attorneys to be certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the only organization approved by the Connecticut Judicial Department’s Specialization Committee. He has been recognized by his peers as a Connecticut Super Lawyer since the inception of that designation in 2006. Jim Connolly grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and completed his undergrad and law degree at the University of Bridgeport (now Quinnipiac University School of Law), magna cum laude. In his early career, he litigated serious criminal matters including murder, sexual assault, and robbery. He also represented a major national insurance company and litigated automobile, product liability, premises liability, and other negligence and subrogation matters.

Joseph Tramuta

Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Attorney Joseph Tramuta began practicing law in 1985. He graduated cum laude from Providence College and Gonzaga University School of Law. He has extensive experience in various practice areas including personal injury, probate law, estate planning, civil litigation, criminal law, real estate, and business law. He is the Managing Partner of Minnella & Tramuta, LLC and has a strong background in business and legal representation, including international expansion and major corporate transactions. He is also an active member of the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Village and the Connecticut Italian-American Bar Association.

Brigid Connolly Brennan

Brigid has practiced law since 2005 and was selected by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys in 2013 as one of the Top Ten Personal Injury Attorneys Under 40 in Connecticut. In 2020, she was invited to become a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 practicing in the area of Civil Plaintiff work. In 2021, Brigid was selected by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the Top Ten Attorneys in the State of Connecticut. Brigid grew up in Stratford, Connecticut. In 2001 she graduated With Honors from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She earned a dual degree in English and Theater. She decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and become an attorney. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Law and graduated With Honors in 2005 at the top of her class. After graduation, Brigid worked as an associate at Marvin, Ferro, & Barndollar, LLC in New Canaan, where she practiced family law. As a divorce attorney, Brigid delved into complex issues of significant financial and personal consequence, an experience that she applies to her current relationships with clients, who often face financial hardship because of injury. She was attracted to civil trial work and in 2007, Brigid joined her father at Rodie & Connolly, PC. She became a partner in 2013. Her practice areas included motor vehicle, defective product, and premises liability litigation. She tried and won cases in multiple jurisdictions involving various fact patterns ranging from a failure to provide adequate security on a commercial premises to motor vehicle and motorcycle collisions. Her resolved cases, by verdict or settlement, have resulted in millions for her clients. Brigid has always believed that straightforward communication and tirelessly advocating are what yield real results. Every day she strives to provide her clients with clear and effective communication for the best possible results. Brigid currently lives in Trumbull with her daughter and husband, Attorney Tom Brennan.

John Jeffrey Mager

John is admitted to practice by the Connecticut Bar (1990) and the Federal Bar for the District of Connecticut (1990). He is a member of the Milford Bar Association and serves on its Board as a Director, having been the immediate past president. He also belongs to the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyer Association. He is a public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He serves as a Special Master for the Family Law section of the Superior Court for the State of Connecticut. He is a certified Guardian Ad Litem. John practices law in the areas of family law, criminal law and plaintiff personal injury litigation. He resides in Milford with his wife and three children.

Donald R. Beebe

Donald R. Beebe is a native of Bozrah, CT, who founded Beebe & O'Neil in 1976. He practices personal injury, criminal law, civil litigation, and commercial litigation. He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1975 and has also been admitted to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court, Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court, U.S. District Court District of Connecticut, U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1975 and his B.A. cum laude in Government and Philosophy from Harvard University in 1972.

Thomas B. Lynch

Robert L. Berchem is a Senior Partner and President of Berchem Moses PC. He was elected co-chair of the University of Bridgeport Board of Trustees and has been honored with the Connecticut Law Tribune’s Professional Excellence Awards. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1967.
