Brian A. Consigli
Attorney Brian A. Consigli was born on October 5, 1973 and is the oldest of four children of Aldo B. Consigli, Jr. and Elizabeth G. Consigli. He is a native of Upton, Massachusetts and a graduate of St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. While at St. John’s, Consigli was an outstanding athlete on the varsity football, baseball and track and field teams. After high school, he attended Williams College, where he was a four-year member of the varsity track and field team and two-year member of the varsity football team. After injuries curtailed his playing football, Consigli concentrated on Track and Field where, in both his junior and senior years, he earned All American status in the Hammer Throw. He graduated from Williams in 1995. After college, Consigli worked in the private sector in sales. He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2003. He joined the firm in 2003 and has been involved in general practice with an emphasis on real estate conveyancing, personal injury, divorce and child custody actions, collections, criminal law, bankruptcy and workers compensation. Since joining the firm, Attorney Consigli has tried cases in the District Court of Massachusetts, Probate and Family Court of Massachusetts and at the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents. He has also done significant work in the Superior Court and in the Bankruptcy Court, where he represents mainly debtors. Jay E. Macklow

Charles J. Brucato Jr.
Attorney Brucato was born in Milford, Massachusetts on March 16, 1947. He attended Milford Public Schools and graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1965. While at Deerfield, Brucato played Varsity football and was an outstanding pitcher on the undefeated 1965 Varsity baseball team. He went on to the University of Vermont where he earned three letters in baseball and he graduated in 1969 with a B.A in Political Science. After college, Brucato attended Boston College Law School where he graduated in 1972 with a J.D. After being admitted to practice in 1973, Attorney Brucato was employed by the law firm of McGuire and Collias, Inc., in Fall River, Massachusetts. He worked there until 1978. While at McGuire and Collias, Attorney Brucato was involved in the firm’s insurance company defense practice including personal injury, product liability and workers compensation cases. He also did work in the area of plaintiff personal injury. In addition to these areas, Attorney Brucato did a substantial amount of real estate conveyancing work. He performed literally hundreds of title examinations on both residential and commercial real estate. He also was the attorney in the firm responsible for handling real estate closings for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Fall River and Westport Federal Credit Union. In 1978, Attorney Brucato moved back to his hometown of Milford, Massachusetts and was the co-founder of Consigli and Brucato, P.C. He serves as the Managing Partner of the firm. Since 1978, he has devoted most of his time to trial practice in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, medical malpractice, general liability and employment law, as well as workers compensation and criminal defense. He has tried both jury cases and jury waived cases in the Superior Courts and District Courts of Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and Southern District of New York. He has argued appeals in the Massachusetts Appellate Division of the District Court, Massachusetts Appeals Court, and in both the Federal First and Second Circuit Courts of Appeals. In 2001, Attorney Brucato secured a jury verdict of $534,500.00 (later reduced by the Trial Judge) in the case of Fiori vs. Truck Drivers Local 170, which was tried in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. That case was later affirmed on appeal in the First Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2004, after a jury-waived trial in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, he obtained a judgment, which totaled over $1,400,000.00, with interest, in the case of Tusino vs. International Brotherhood of Teamsters . This judgment was later reduced on appeal in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his trial practice, Attorney Brucato devotes a significant amount of time to real estate law and small business formation. Like Attorney Consigli, he has also done title examinations on both residential and commercial real estate for Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association, Milford National Bank and Trust Company, Home National Bank of Milford, and Milford Savings Bank.

Michael K. Landman
Attorney Michael K. Landman is a founding partner of Landman, Akashian & Macklow, LLP, co-founding the firm in 1994. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1979 and Vermont Law School in 1982. Admitted to the Bar in December 1982, he has practiced workers’ compensation law for 29 years. Suzette A. Ferreira
Attorney Suzette A. Ferreira was born on February 23, 1973 and is a life-long resident of Milford, Massachusetts. She attended Milford Public School and graduated from Milford High School in 1991. After high school, she attended Boston College where she graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1995. While at Boston College, she was a Dean’s List student. In 1997, she accepted a position at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, Rhode Island where she worked until October of 2001. Her last position there was a policy business analyst. In the fall of 2001, she became the New Construction Manager at D & F Afonso Builders, Inc. in Milford, a position which she held until July, 2006. While working full-time in that position, she enrolled as a student at Suffolk University Law School. She graduated as a Dean’s List student with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2005. Attorney Ferreira was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2006 and on July 10, 2006, she accepted a position as an associate attorney with Consigli and Brucato, P.C. She is fluent in the Portuguese language and proficient in Spanish.
