Blake R. Maislin

After graduating from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1997, Blake R. Maislin established his practice in the same year, and has been fighting for the rights of personal injury victims throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky ever since. Thomas Dall

Thomas Dall was born in Indiana and moved to Kentucky after high school to pursue a Political Science/International Studies double Major at Northern Kentucky University. Directly after undergraduate school, Mr. Dall began working full-time at Lerner, Sampson, and Rothfuss as a Legal Assistant while attending the night program at NKU Chase College of Law. Subsequently, Mr. Dall began working for Weltman, Weinberg, and Reis as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in their litigation department. After graduating law school and passing the Ohio Bar, Mr. Dall joined the Law Offices of Blake R. Maislin. He went on to pass both the Indiana and Kentucky Bars. Mr. Dall’s main practice area entails insurance law, personal injury and trial practice.

Cory Thompson

Cory was born and raised in the Cincinnati area. He graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati and then attended the University of Cincinnati Law School where he graduated in 2004. During his time at UC law, he was a clerk for Judge Matthew Crehan in Butler County and a legal extern for Justice Pfeiffer at the Ohio Supreme Court. After graduating law school, Cory went to work for some of the largest insurance companies in the area handling personal injury litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and commercial litigation. Cory joined the law offices of Blake R. Maislin in 2023 to put his inside knowledge of insurance companies to work his clients. He is licensed in the State of Ohio and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Michael C. Lind

Mike was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and spent most of his twenty-three plus years practicing law in Maryland. However, in August 2020, he relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio, in order to begin his married life with his Wife, Leigh, and his Son, Will. Mike attended college at St. Mary’s College of Maryland in Saint Mary’s City, Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. He also played four years of NCAA Division III college basketball under head coaches Bob Valvano and Bob Flynn. Mike obtained his law degree in 1999 at the University of Baltimore School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. He served as a judicial law clerk for three judges at the Circuit Court for Wicomico County, in Maryland. He then spent approximately two years practicing insurance defense litigation at a private law firm. In 2002, Mike began representing injured individuals in Maryland personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, which he continued to do through September 2022. Mike joined The Law Offices of Blake R. Maislin, LLC in February 2023 and represents residential and commercial property owners in first-party breach of contract and bad-faith litigation cases. Mike is also a former Maryland real estate salesperson/agent with over 17 years of experience which adds some perspective to his handling of residential property damage claims. He has also performed many home renovation projects himself over the years which adds additional perspective to the handling of his cases.

Derrick A. Wyatt

Derrick Wyatt and his wife are lifelong residents of Kentucky, growing up in Ashland and currently residing in Union with their two young children. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Derrick was privileged to be selected as a member of Kentucky’s Governor’s Scholar Program prior to enrolling at Transylvania University. Mr. Wyatt graduated from Transylvania University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Following his college graduation, he attended the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where he was awarded the Bratton-Wirthlin Trial Advocacy Award and graduated magna cum laude receiving his Juris Doctor in 2012. Upon receiving his license to practice law in the State of Ohio, Mr. Wyatt immediately began working exclusively on personal injury cases and joined The Law Offices of Blake R. Maislin in May of 2014. He takes pride in helping his clients get through the difficult times experienced due to injuries sustained through no fault of their own. He knows that no one comes to see him on their best day and does everything he can to help his clients make the best of their bad situation.

Jon Clemons

Mr. Clemons is from Cincinnati, graduating from the Seven Hills School. He then attended the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in history, before attending the University of Cincinnati College of Law. At UC Law he was cum laude and on Law Review and performed an externship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, graduating in 2006. After UC Law Mr. Clemons worked for a large multi-state law firm with a focus on litigation. Mr. Clemons joined the Law Offices of Blake R. Maislin, LLC in 2014 and has focused his practice on personal injury matters, and in representing business and property owners in disputes with insurance companies. He has successfully tried many cases in both Ohio and Indiana, and practices before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio, Northern District of Ohio, Southern District of Indiana, and Northern District of Indiana.

Heather Schisler

Ms. Schisler is a 2003 honors graduate from the University of Cincinnati College of law and has over twenty years of experience in the practice of law. Her practice has focused primarily on civil litigation in the areas of insurance law, employment law, and general litigation. Ms. Schisler prides herself on her unique ability to connect with clients and the compassion she has for every situation a client is faced with. Many clients come to Ms. Schisler angry, scared, and frustrated. Ms. Schisler thoroughly enjoys talking with her clients and walking them through every step of the process, so as to put their minds at ease in their respective situations. Ms. Schisler resides in Cincinnati and enjoys spending time with her dog Rosie and her two children. She is also a cancer survivor and is active in volunteering for the American Cancer Society.
