Beau Mosman

Beau Mosman

Raised in Moscow, Idaho, Beau left his home state after high school to pursue his education in Utah and California, eventually earning his JD at UCLA School of Law in 2017, where he was managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and editor-in-chief of the Pacific Basin Law Journal. Upon admission to the California Bar, Beau was an associate for a Fresno law firm specializing in insurance defense for two years before returning to his roots in Moscow in late 2019. He took a temporary hiatus from the practice of law, serving as the executive director of Backyard Harvest, a local nonprofit dedicated to picking and distributing fresh produce to low-income individuals. During this time, Beau began teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho College of Law, teaching Legal Research, Food Law, and Family Law Practice between 2020 and 2023. By late 2023, Beau became interested in returning to practice, and began working part-time as a paralegal for his father, Wynn, assisting in criminal defense and family law matters in Idaho and Washington. Beau discovered his passion for helping everyday people with their personal legal issues and enjoyed the independence afforded by working for a small firm in a small community. Having found his calling, and having rediscovered his love of Moscow and its surrounding communities, Beau dedicated himself full-time to the family law practice and committed to passing the Idaho Bar, becoming licensed as an Idaho attorney in 2024. He is also currently awaiting an admission decision from the Washington Bar.
