Terri Braswell Gilbert
A Chattanooga native, Terri Braswell Gilbert has practiced law for 36 years. After several years in the area of bankruptcy law, Terri made the transition to a more transactional practice drafting Wills and simple trusts, advance care plans, and helping clients through the estate administration process. Terri finds great satisfaction in helping those clients who want to be prepared for what comes next, but who have never really worked with an attorney. Terri is a ‘79 graduate of Hixson High School and graduated from UTK in 1983. She is a “VFL” (if you don’t know, just ask!) Terri earned her law degree from the University of Memphis in 1988. While in Memphis, she reconnected with a Hixson High classmate, Tim Gilbert, who was in Memphis building a golf course. The two married a few months after law school graduation. Terri and Tim returned to Chattanooga in 1989. The early change to a more transactional practice allowed Terri to be more involved with raising their two beautiful daughters and helping out with the family golf business. Terri and Tim love to spend time with their girls and sons-in-law and their sweetest baby granddaughter, Piper. Terri enjoys time with friends and extended family, travel, theater, reading, and watching the VOLS. Terri and Tim worship at Clear Creek Church of Christ. They love their church family and feel God has truly blessed them in every way.
