Robert L. Salim
Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Robert attended Northwestern State University (NSU) in Natchitoches from 1969 to 1972 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and History. He was a member of the Dean's List and the tennis team during his time at NSU. After graduation, he attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, from 1973 - 1976. Robert graduated on January 15, 1976 and was admitted to the LA State Bar in April 1976. While in law school, he clerked for Dodd & Barker and Donald G. Kelly. Robert is admitted to practice before all courts, State and Federal, in Louisiana as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Natchitoches Parish Bar Association, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Immaculate Conception Church, and a former member of Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Since 2007, he has been selected as one of the 100 Top Trial Lawyers as determined by The American Trial Lawyers Association. Robert is a founding member of The Class Action Trial Lawyers Association. His hobbies include working with area youth. Natchitoches Dixie Youth Baseball (President 1996 - 1999, Director 1990 - 2000), Founder of Natchitoches American Legion Baseball (2000 - present), and Special Olympics (1976 - 1982) are three youth groups Robert has been involved with over the years. He is married to his wife Melissa and has four children: Tony, a coach in South Louisiana, Chris, a sports broadcaster, and Jennifer, an attorney in Dallas and Olivia, his youngest. Robert was a Senior Partner of KELLY & SALIM law firm from 1976 to 1990, with its main office located in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He is experienced in the field of toxic tort, personal injury, negligence, product liability, environmental law litigation, class action litigation, mass torts, aviation law, trials, personal injury, worker's compensation, probate, wrongful death actions, as well as general civil practice in all State and Federal Courts. In 1990, Robert formed ROBERT L. SALIM, APLC and continued to practice personal injury, product liability, and mass torts. In 2012, Robert joined with Barrett Beasley to form Salim-Beasley, LLC. He is involved in numerous mass torts and has been appointed to the PSC in both Plavix and Transvaginal Mesh MDLs. Robert has represented attorney generals from around the United States in various consumer fraud cases. He has represented California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Hawaii, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, and New Mexico. He ventures with firms in states all over the country, including Illinois, New York, Florida, Texas, California and many others to provide the strongest representation possible to successfully litigate against pharmaceutical giants. Lisa Causey-Streete
Lisa Causey-Streete was born and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where she now practices with Salim-Beasley, LLC. Lisa has substantial experience in mass tort pharmaceutical and medical device products liability litigation. She is an active member of the bar in Louisiana and Texas, and has focused almost exclusively on mass tort pharmaceutical and medical device products liability litigation since joining Salim-Beasley, LLC in March 2012. The first ten years of Lisa's practice was spent as a defense attorney at prestigious firms in Houston, Texas and Beaumont, Texas involving medical malpractice, products liability, and a wide array of other personal injury cases. Uniquely, Lisa obtained her masters in health law in 2009 from the University of Houston's Health Law & Policy Institute in addition to her juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 2002, and bachelor of arts from Baylor University. Lisa is admitted to all United States District Courts in Texas and Louisiana as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. On April 10, 2017, Lisa was appointed to the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee in In Re: Eliquis (Apixaban) Products Liability Action, MDL 2754, pending in the Southern District of New York before Judge Denise Cote. She also served on the Plaintiffs steering committee for the Eliquis case. Currently, Lisa serves as the lead attorney handling the following cases for Salim-Beasley: Eliquis, Xarelto, Pradaxa, BP, Transvaginal Mesh. Lisa also handles many of Salim-Beasley other personal injury cases arising from medical malpractice, car wrecks, and other catastrophic personal injuries. Lisa is married to Jon B. Streete originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. They were blessed with twins in March 2014: Jon Barton Streete and Jolie Kathern Streete. Lisa is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Natchitoches, Service League of Natchitoches, and is a board member for the Cane River's Children's home.

D. Scott Kendrick
Scott Kendrick was born in Haynesville, Louisiana and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he now practices with Salim-Beasley, LLC. Scott began his career in 2002 opening a solo practice in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he primarily specialized in Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Recently, in early 2025, he joined Salim-Beasley, LLC as an attorney working on various Mass Tort litigation projects. He obtained his juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 2001 and is admitted in the Louisiana Bar and the United States District Court in the Western District of Louisiana. Scott has one son, Bradley Kendrick, who is a 2024 graduate of Clemson University and works in the financial services arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Barrett Beasley
Barrett Beasley is a Partner at the law firm of Salim-Beasley, LLC. She practices products liability and pharmaceutical litigation before state and federal courts, mediation and arbitration panels, and appellate courts. She currently serves as lead co-counsel for the JUUL docket. Mrs. Beasley is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Mount Holyoke College, in Massachusetts, where she majored in Biology and Art History. She graduated from University of San Francisco School of Law in 1997. Mrs. Beasley is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the State of Louisiana.

Caroline Thomas White
Caroline Thomas White is a third-generation attorney from Natchitoches, Louisiana. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana State University and her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. During law school, Caroline gained valuable experience through internships with the Honorable Judge James J. Brady for the Middle District of Louisiana and the Honorable Judge Harry F. Randow for the 9th Judicial District Court of Louisiana. After graduating, Caroline began her legal career at a prominent plaintiff firm in New Orleans, where she gained substantial experience in complex litigation. Over the years, Caroline has represented consumers and financial institutions in high-stakes class actions and multi-district litigation involving data breaches, privacy violations, and consumer protection claims. Caroline has also represented individuals injured by pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices in mass tort litigation. In 2025, Caroline joined Salim-Beasley, where she works on a variety of complex litigation matters. Caroline lives in New Orleans, Louisiana with her husband, Ross, and their three small children. She is actively involved in her children's schools and extracurricular activities and enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Caroline enjoys playing mahjong.
