Mr. Davis is a co-founder of Davis & Brusca and the firm’s managing partner. He has devoted his practice to helping seriously injured people and their families for over 20 years, and has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. Mark understands that the true focus of any injury case is the impact which the injury causes on the lives of those affected and therefore no two “accidents” are truly the same. He works tirelessly to create client-focused plans which deliver results targeted to each client’s unique needs & interests. Mr. Davis has a record of success in trial which has earned him multiple professional and peer honors. He holds Board Certification as a civil trial lawyer from both the New Jersey Supreme Court and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is an avid cyclist, and resides in Mercer County with his wife and two children.

Since 2009, Michael has devoted his practice to representing vulnerable people and their families in abuse, neglect, and death cases in nursing homes, rehabs, assisted living facilities, group homes, and hospitals. He is one of a select few lawyers in New Jersey to truly concentrate their practice in this area. He shares his knowledge on this important topic by regularly lecturing around the country and teaching other lawyers to prosecute these claims the right way. He has also been consulted by reporters and law enforcement in this field. Michael has been published many times, including in the New Jersey Law Journal and in “Trial” - the national attorney magazine published & disseminated by the American Association for Justice. He is the past chairman of the Executive Board of the National Nursing Home Litigation Group for the American Association for Justice. Michael brings a unique perspective to his work. He himself has lost family members in institutions and he knows, first-hand, what it’s like to see someone you care about struggle and die. He uses that passion and understanding to bring about justice for his clients. Michael is a highly skilled and experienced advocate. Prior to entering private practice, Michael served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where he tried many cases all over the world, including Japan, Qatar and Kuwait. In New Jersey, he was lead counsel for the plaintiff in the case of Dwyer v. Harborview, which generated the largest nursing home verdict to date: $13.2 Million. While the verdict was later the subject of post-trial motions and an appeal, and ultimately settled for a different amount, the results demonstrate Michael’s considerable skill in the courtroom. David Gelman

David Gelman was born and raised in South Jersey, attending Moorestown High School. He received his education from the University of Arkansas, where he obtained both his undergraduate and law degree. Upon admission to the bar, David served a clerkship for the Honorable John Tomasello in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He then spent time in private practice before joining the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office in 2013, where he handled numerous cases from drug offenses to murder. David founded Gelman Law to provide outstanding service and favorable results to his clients.

Lisa J. Pezzano

Lisa J. Pezzano is the owner of Pezzano Law Group, LLC, specializing in workers' compensation and personal injury. She graduated from Villanova University in 1988 and George Washington Law School in 1991. With over 30 years of experience, she previously defended insurance carriers before opening her own firm in 2001. She is licensed in New Jersey and New York.

Phil Anderson is a highly skilled and dedicated healthcare attorney who is deeply committed to helping people who have been injured by the negligence of others. Before joining Davis & Brusca, Phil spent most of his career as a defense lawyer litigating claims against nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home health care providers. This experience has given him a unique perspective on nursing home litigation and the key issues necessary to achieving success for his clients. Phil is pleased to be a member of the Davis & Brusca team, and to have the opportunity to use his considerable skills to benefit victims of neglect and abuse. Phil takes his role as a victim advocate very seriously and strives to keep his clients well informed and to deliver results which meet with each client’s specific goals and objectives. Phil resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and children.

Frank Orbach is a highly experienced trial attorney and a welcome addition to the team at Davis & Brusca, LLC. Frank has successfully tried many cases to verdict and has extensive experience in Nursing Home Neglect & Abuse claims. He has devoted the majority of his career to complex personal injury matters, with special emphasis on medical and professional malpractice, and brings unique insight gained from having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in these complex cases. Frank uses this wealth of knowledge to highlight the unique facts and losses of his clients’ specific cases. He understands that each client has a story to tell and that the relationship between a lawyer and a client can only flourish if the lawyer truly understands the client’s feelings, concerns and perspective. Frank vigorously represents each client and strives to deliver results which meet each client’s goals.

Thaddeus E. Drummond is a retired Assistant Burlington County Prosecutor with twenty-five years of experience. He served as a trial attorney and supervised the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (CAR) Unit. He was responsible for overseeing confidential investigations, internal affairs, officer-involved shootings, official misconduct, and police trainings. He also played a pivotal role in the county-wide implementation and officer training related to Body Worn Cameras and Conducted Energy Devices/Tasers. As a trial attorney, he tried cases involving narcotics, theft, robbery, burglary, sexual assault, and homicide. As the CAR Unit Supervisor, he oversaw vehicular homicide and assault by auto investigations and prosecuted related criminal cases. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1992. He received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law in 1992 and his BS in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University in 1989.
