Hal E. Hunter, III, also known as "Buck," has carried on The Hunter Law Firm's practice since 1970. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law (UMKC). He was a standout boxer for the Fighting Irish Boxing Team and was appointed Adjutant General with the Missouri National Guard in 2001.

Hal E. Hunter, IV, known as "Chance," joined the family firm after graduating from the University of Missouri in 1993 and receiving his Law Degree from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 1998. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL) and has served as Municipal Judge for the Cities of Gideon and New Madrid.
