Robert J. David

Robert J. David was born in New Roads, Louisiana in August 1943. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School and attended LSU and SLU, earning a B.A. degree in 1966. In 1969 he received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, where he served on the Loyola Law Review. Representing patients and their families in medical malpractice cases is the principal focus of Robert’s practice. He has been named to Woodward/White’s “The Best Lawyers in America,” for twenty-two consecutive years. He is listed in “Louisiana Super Lawyers,” and was named one of the “Top Ten Attorneys in Louisiana.” He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the American Bar Endowment, a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys with Special Competence in Medical Professional Liability.

Irving J. Warshauer

Irving J. Warshauer was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 11, 1950. He graduated from Isidore Newman School in 1968. Irving earned his B.A., with honors, in 1972 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Irving then attended Tulane University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1976. He has been certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Irving concentrates his practice in representing individuals and families in personal injury and wrongful death litigation, particularly in the areas of admiralty/maritime and products liability. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2005.

Gerald E. Meunier

Gerald E. Meunier was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 20, 1948, and admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1974. He received his college education at Georgetown University and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in 1970. Mr. Meunier attended Georgetown University Law Center and received his J.D. in 1974. He has had a distinguished career as a trial attorney, with current emphasis in complex litigation, mass torts and class actions. He served as past President of the Louisiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Pro Bono Project. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2003.

Brittany R. Wolf-Freedman

Brittany R. Wolf-Freedman joined Gainsburgh Benjamin as an associate attorney in 2018. She became a member of the firm in 2023. Brittany’s civil litigation practice focuses on personal injury claims, including representation of survivors of sexual abuse, medical malpractice, wrongful death, maritime personal injury, and vaccine injury claims. She also specializes in appellate practice. She has been recognized by the Louisiana State Bar Association as a “Top 40 Under 40.” She has also been named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and a “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers. Brittany graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in English and Spanish. She received her J.D. cum laude from Tulane Law School.

Walter C. Morrison IV

Walter C. Morrison, IV was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on October 19, 1967 and raised in New Roads, Louisiana. He graduated from Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee in 1986. He graduated in 1990 from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in accounting. He attended Mississippi College School of Law where he was Production Editor of the law review and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1993. Walter’s practice started in Jackson, Mississippi when he joined Upshaw Williams in 1993 and focused primarily on the defense of personal injury cases. He became a member of Gainsburgh, Benjamin in January 2013 and he practices in both Mississippi and Louisiana. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.

Michael J. Ecuyer

Michael J. Ecuyer is a member of the law firm of Gainsburgh, Benjamin, David, Meunier, & Warshauer, L.L.C. He practices with an emphasis on the representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice claims, admiralty or maritime matters, mass torts, FELA claims and personal injury claims. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Justice (Executive Committee), and the Federal Bar Association (Board of Directors, New Orleans Chapter). He is an assistant examiner for the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions. Born in Oklahoma in 1967, Michael attended Tulane University, earning a B.A. in Political Economics in 1989. In 1994, Michael received a Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.

Michael Jaques is an attorney with Gainsburgh, Benjamin, David, Meunier & Warshauer, L.L.C. in Ridgeland, Mississippi with over 30 years of litigation experience. Since 2005, Michael’s practice has focused on representing the victims of medical malpractice. He was born in Franklin, Louisiana in 1965. He graduated from Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and in 1987 earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College. In 1990 he obtained his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Michael is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Mississippi and Louisiana.
