Lucy Badillo
Lucy Badillo was born and raised in Colquitt County, Georgia. She joined The Brown Firm in the summer of 2024 and is now an associate attorney. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University in 2021, where she served as Director of Multicultural Affairs for the Student Government Association, President of the Latino Student Association, and a member of the Council of Student Ambassadors. Following graduation, she attended Mercer University School of Law, where she was actively involved in the Association of Women Law Students and the Hispanic Law Student Association. During law school, she gained valuable experience through clerkships at multiple personal injury firms and worked as an advocate in the Mercer Law Domestic Violence Clinic, representing clients in temporary protective order cases. As a fluent Spanish speaker, Lucy is passionate about serving the Hispanic community and ensuring that Spanish speaking clients receive comprehensive and accessible legal representation. When she’s not at work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and cat, cooking, and practicing yoga.

Roberts Vaux is a founding partner of the firm, established in 1973. He specializes in general litigation, foreclosure defense, family law, personal injury, and criminal defense. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1972 and is admitted to practice in South Carolina and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Adam Saxe
Adam Saxe has been an attorney with The Brown Firm since February 2011. He is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and has practiced personal injury and social security disability law since 1996. After graduating from the University of Houston in 1988 with a degree in Psychology, Adam received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova-Southeastern University in Davie, Florida (training home of the Miami Dolphins) before receiving his Juris Doctorate at Nova-Southeastern University. While attending Nova-Southeastern School of Law, Adam interned with a personal injury Firm in Hollywood Florida and since graduation, he has worked for personal injury firms in Florida and Georgia. When he’s not at the office, you can find Adam running with the Savannah Striders or in the garden and kitchen at home in Savannah, Georgia, home of the Savannah Bananas. When not in town, Adam loves travel to with his wife of 25 years.

Tabor Vaux
Tabor Vaux, also known as Roberts Vaux, Jr., is a partner at the firm, focusing on personal injury, automobile and motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, general litigation, dram shop, and alcohol liability. He is a graduate of The Citadel and the Charleston School of Law (2008). He was awarded the Mark W. Clark Award and is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2008.

Tom Bacon
Tom is originally from Augusta, GA. In 1997, he attended Furman University, where Tom majored in History and Political Science and was a member of the Men’s Golf Team for 4 years. Tom then attended USC School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2004. After graduating from Law School, Tom worked for 10 years as an insurance defense lawyer in Charleston, SC, focusing in Workers’ Compensation defense. In 2014, Tom moved to Beaufort, SC, where he began litigating personal injury cases and Workers’ Compensation claims, fighting for the rights of injured parties of the SC Lowcountry. In January 2025, Tom joined The Brown Firm, LLC, as the lead attorney for SC cases involving serious injury and death claims, Workers Compensation claims, premises liability, as well as Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect. When not in the office, Tom enjoys spending time with his Wife Kelsey and three daughters, Bentley, Spencer and Sullivan, as well as playing golf, cooking and traveling.
