Tom Fitzpatrick

David Fitzpatrick

Since he began practicing law in 1999, Dave has become very involved in professional law associations and improving his skills as an attorney. Dave is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Minnesota and has a nationwide practice helping people obtain Social Security Disability. Dave is a current member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and Minnesota, La Crosse County Bar Association. Additionally, Dave’s performance as an exceptional trial lawyer in the area of civil plaintiff law earned membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes excellence in advocacy in a case that resulted in a multi-million-dollar verdict, award, or settlement. Dave has represented over 2,500 clients in Social Security Disability hearings and received over 34 million in past due benefits. Tim Jacobson

Tim Jacobson, an attorney since 1992, has been recognized as a Wisconsin “Super Lawyer,” as well as a regional Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker (“Decoding the Driftless” and “Mysteries of the Driftless”) and a best-selling novelist. He practices in several areas of law, including environmental, business, and construction litigation, and handles personal injury claims. Scott Butler

Scott M. Butler is a partner at Fitzpatrick, Skemp & Butler, LLC, and his practice is dedicated to representing injured parties throughout the States of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Scott graduated from the Marquette University Law School in 2010 and immediately began representing people injured through no fault of their own. Other than a year working as La Crosse County Circuit Court Law Clerk and Small Claims Mediator, his practice has consisted solely of representing parties injured in wrongful deaths, car accidents, slip and falls, nursing home neglect, and other personal injuries. Scott is currently on the Executive Committee of the Wisconsin Association of Justice. Because of his expertise in personal injury law, he is a frequent speaker and writer for trial lawyer groups and the State of Wisconsin Bar Association on issues of personal injury, trial strategy, and evidence.

William Skemp

Bill graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1990 and has been representing injured clients for over 32 years. He has served his home community of La Crosse and the surrounding areas to get clients the justice and compensation they deserve. Bill’s decades of experience have allowed him to excel and provide expertise on a variety of litigation claims including wrongful death, car accidents, slip and falls, other personal injury claims, and work-related injuries. He is dedicated to putting the best interests of his clients first and maximizing the compensation on their behalf.

James Richgels

James Richgels is an attorney practicing in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation. James graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law in 2003. He practiced law for five years in Madison before returning to his hometown of La Crosse, where he soon began devoting his practice almost exclusively to helping injured people and their families.
