Trent was originally admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1995 and returned to northern Minnesota to continue his legal practice in 2012. In his spare time, his interests include fishing, motorcycling and snowmobiling. In addition, he still plays golf regularly, although certainly not to the level he formerly did while playing professionally.

He grew up on a farm near Madison, MN and now enjoys living in Park Rapids with his wife and four children. Matt continues to play for his hometown’s amateur baseball team. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with family at his wife’s cabin on Potato Lake.
