Jan Dils

Jan Dils is the firm’s founder. She opened Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, in 1994 as the solo attorney/employee. Today, she has a skilled and compassionate team of more than 150 serving clients throughout West Virginia, with offices in Parkersburg, Beckley, Charleston, Huntington and Logan, as well as one additional office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her passion is fighting for people who are all too often left helpless at the hands of corporations, insurance companies, Big Pharma, and government red tape. Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, has 25 years of experience in all forms of Social Security and Disability benefits, Veteran’s Benefits and Personal Injury cases. Jan is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Marketing and Economics. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration in 1991, and her law degree from West Virginia University in 1994. She is a member of the West Virginia Bar, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates. Jim Leach

Jim Leach has earned a reputation for determined client advocacy over his more than two decades of practice in Parkersburg, West Virginia and surrounding areas. Jim’s ties to West Virginia are deep. He earned both his undergrad and law degree from West Virginia University. In addition to West Virginia, Jim is also licensed to practice law in Ohio, Maryland and Virginia. Before founding the firm in 1997, Jim served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, handling criminal cases. Jim brings more than 20 years of experience, but also a commitment to comprehensive client service.

Brian Alan Prim

Brian has over 27 years of experience representing victims of asbestos exposure. He has extensive experience handling mesothelioma and lung cancer claims. He devoted his career to helping working men and women who have been injured and has developed a vast knowledge of asbestos-containing products to maximize your recovery. In addition, Brian has represented folks injured by someone’s negligence, be it automobile collisions, chemical exposures or workplace injuries. Outside of work Brian spends as many hours as possible hunting and fishing and enjoys working with cattle and farming. He believes in giving back to the community has a strong history of supporting local county fairs, 4H and FFA programs, local school athletics and educational groups, along with various other local charities.

Erika Klie Kolenich

Attorney Kolenich was admitted to practice law in 2004 and is licensed in state and federal court in West Virginia and Ohio. She is a 2001 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and a 2004 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. Attorney Kolenich has litigated hundreds of civil cases, including personal injury, discrimination and wrongful death cases. Attorney Kolenich has a proven track record as a skilled trial attorney as well as extensive appellate experience. Ms. Kolenich is also a trained mediator and has completed basic and advanced mediation education and training. She resides in Buckhannon, West Virginia, with her husband and daughter. Kelly Guice

A Parkersburg native, Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, with a minor in Spanish, from Cleveland State University in 1993 and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1996. Her legal career began with personal injury litigation and was later shaped by service in the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office, where she primarily prosecuted violent crimes against women and children. She also spent several years working in insurance defense, further honing her litigation skills on complex cases involving product liability and toxic torts. Kelly has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for her excellence in both product liability and mass tort/class action litigation. Devyn Leach was born and raised in West Virginia. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2014 and earned her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University in 2019. She is an associate at Jim Leach LC, focusing on personal injury, and is the founding member of Devyn Leach LLC, focusing on Bankruptcy and Immigration. She has experience in immigration law, environmental law, and intellectual property rights.
