Robert Zimmerman

Robert Zimmerman, a native of Long Island, New York, has been helping victims throughout Florida and the United States seek justice for more than 25 years. He represents clients in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, and nursing home neglect. Robert is a “Double Gator,” obtaining both his B.S. and law degree from the University of Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and started the practice of law with the Judge Advocate General’s Office of the United States Navy. While serving, Lieutenant Zimmerman was awarded the prestigious Navy Achievement Medal, which was presented by the Secretary of the United States Navy. After successful completion of his military service, Robert worked for several prominent law firms. During his legal career, Mr. Zimmerman has achieved numerous multi-million dollar awards for his clients. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Florida Bar. He was also named as one of South Florida’s top 100 attorneys by Florida Trend Magazine.

Joshua Frachtman

Joshua Frachtman joined Zimmerman & Frachtman in 2012, after spending the early part of his career defending a wide range of civil issues with a focus on personal injury and construction defect litigation. With Zimmerman & Frachtman, Joshua has applied his knowledge of the techniques and strategies used by insurance companies when handling personal injury claims to achieve the best possible result for his clients who have suffered an injury. Joshua also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, civil rights, employment law, and insurance coverage matters. Joshua was born in Plantation, Florida, and grew up in Coral Springs and Parkland. After receiving his B.S. from the University of Florida, he returned to South Florida to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University. Joshua lives in Parkland with his wife and two children. He represents clients in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and nursing home neglect.

Tyler Zimmerman

Tyler Zimmerman was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in Boca Raton. After graduating from high school in 2010 he attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida where he received a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice in 2014. After college Tyler was thrilled to be able to follow in his father’s (Robert Zimmerman) footsteps and attend the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida where he received his Juris Doctor in 2017. After law school Tyler returned home to South Florida and was honored to become the newest attorney at Zimmerman & Frachtman after passing the Florida Bar Exam in July of 2017. Tyler is excited to be able to work with Zimmerman & Frachtman in giving back to his community by representing clients in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and product liability.

Joey Padilla

Joey Padilla was born in New York but grew up in Coral Springs, Florida. After graduating High School in 2010, Joey attended the University of Central Florida where he received a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor degree in History. He then attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate while simultaneously running a craft beer bar and restaurant. With internship experience in both personal injury and consumer protection, Joey decided to dedicate his career to representing his community and holding insurance companies responsible for their actions. Joey spent the first five years of his career working as a property damage attorney where he cut his teeth in the world of complex civil litigation. Joey has successfully negotiated and resolved millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of his clients. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach, Joey works tirelessly to ensure that his clients receive the justice they deserve. Joey is eager to apply his expertise at Zimmerman & Frachtman as the head of the Property Claims Division and to continue to serve and protect his community.
