Cristina García-Chappell

Cristina García is a highly accomplished Mexican attorney with dual licenses in Texas and Mexico. She obtained an LLM from the University of Texas in Austin and passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2019. She was recognized as one of Texas’s Top 100 lawyers and a Top 10 attorney in Austin in 2023. She is also a member of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association.

Michelle Oduro has focused her area of practice in Business Law primarily; however, she also dedicates a large portion of her practice to legal issues involving mediation, family law and personal injury. Christopher Morrell is an experienced personal injury lawyer whose entire family since 1850 has lived in Southeast Texas. Born and raised here, I went off to college at Texas A&M and then to law school at what’s now known as Texas A&M School of Law. I love our community, and I consider it an honor to be able to help people who are going through very tough times. Chris started his career at the District Attorney’s office and eventually left to follow his wife for her training treating children with cancer at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. What I love most about my job is going to trial and getting true justice from the people. From my experience trying cases I’ve found that juries almost always do the right thing. Shelby White is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Pending Texas Bar results, she will be assisting and learning from the talented attorneys at AZ Law Firm. Her primary focus areas will be family law and animal law, and she will also be involved in personal injury, traffic, and civil rights cases. Throughout law school, Shelby gained valuable legal experience by clerking at several law firms and non-profits, and by serving as a student attorney in her school’s environmental law clinic. She is a published staff writer for Colorado’s Environmental Law Journal and a co-founder of Colorado Law’s Animal Legal Defense Fund student chapter, which won back-to-back Chapter of the Year awards during her time in law school. Shelby is passionate about justice and committed to helping those in need. She is eager to provide relief to families in stressful situations by helping them resolve their legal issues in a professional and empathetic manner. Outside of the office, Shelby loves animals, hiking, running, and being outdoors.

For the last decade, Ana Marilín “Mari” Garza’s primary areas of practice have been in family law, estate planning, probate, and mediation. A skilled bilingual (English/Spanish speaker) attorney, Mari has served as lead counsel & represented hundreds of parents in both agreed and highly contested cases, including high asset divorces, suits affecting the parent-child relationship, paternity suits, enforcements, modifications, non-parent interventions, adoptions & terminations. She has also served in roles focused on children, including as an Amicus Attorney, Guardian ad Litem, & Attorney ad Litem. In the realm of probate, she has represented hundreds of applicants in uncontested and contested probates and heirships, including on special issues and arguments concerning putative spouses, will contests, and testamentary capacity. Ash Zayed focused his for practicing law lies primarily within the area of criminal defense; however, he also dedicates a portion of his practice to legal issues involving mediation law and animal rights. As an attorney that possesses a passion for riding motorcycles, Ash seeks to provide legal services and representation for motorcyclists and their passengers. Ash is a passionate attorney that is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the rights of each and every client are protected. While at the University of Texas, Ash participated in the Air Force ROTC program for almost four years. Ash’s time in the AFROTC program helped him grow professionally, taught him the value of discipline, and further reinforced his high level of integrity. Upon earning a Philosophy degree from the University of Texas, Ash pursued a law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law. In addition to focusing on current criminal law issues, Ash also completed the law school’s forty hour mediation course, which satisfies the published criteria of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable. Alexis is a culturally informed attorney, focusing her practice on immigration and estate planning. Having lived in both the United States and Latin America, and a member of a cross-border family herself, she brings both personal experience and professional insight to every case. Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, Alexis provides culturally informed guidance to clients from diverse backgrounds. In her immigration practice, Alexis provides comprehensive assistance with a range of matters, including fiancé and marriage visas, adjustment of status, consular processing, family-based petitions, and naturalization. Alexis graduated with honors from Oklahoma Christian University, where she earned the Outstanding Political Science Graduate award and was a member of the women’s soccer team. At Notre Dame Law School, she served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Legislation, President of the Native American Law Students Association, and was a top oralist on the Moot Court Board. She also studied international law in London through Notre Dame’s Concannon Program. Alexis is committed to protecting the dignity, well-being, and legal rights of every client she serves.
