Chris Morrell
Christopher Morrell is an experienced personal injury lawyer whose entire family since 1850 has lived in Southeast Texas. Born and raised here, I went off to college at Texas A&M and then to law school at what’s now known as Texas A&M School of Law. I love our community, and I consider it an honor to be able to help people who are going through very tough times. Chris started his career at the District Attorney’s office and eventually left to follow his wife for her training treating children with cancer at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. What I love most about my job is going to trial and getting true justice from the people. From my experience trying cases I’ve found that juries almost always do the right thing. Shelby White
Shelby White is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Pending Texas Bar results, she will be assisting and learning from the talented attorneys at AZ Law Firm. Her primary focus areas will be family law and animal law, and she will also be involved in personal injury, traffic, and civil rights cases. Throughout law school, Shelby gained valuable legal experience by clerking at several law firms and non-profits, and by serving as a student attorney in her school’s environmental law clinic. She is a published staff writer for Colorado’s Environmental Law Journal and a co-founder of Colorado Law’s Animal Legal Defense Fund student chapter, which won back-to-back Chapter of the Year awards during her time in law school. Shelby is passionate about justice and committed to helping those in need. She is eager to provide relief to families in stressful situations by helping them resolve their legal issues in a professional and empathetic manner. Outside of the office, Shelby loves animals, hiking, running, and being outdoors.
Mari Garza
For the last decade, Ana Marilín “Mari” Garza’s primary areas of practice have been in family law, estate planning, probate, and mediation. A skilled bilingual (English/Spanish speaker) attorney, Mari has served as lead counsel & represented hundreds of parents in both agreed and highly contested cases, including high asset divorces, suits affecting the parent-child relationship, paternity suits, enforcements, modifications, non-parent interventions, adoptions & terminations. Alexis Farrell
Alexis is a culturally informed attorney, focusing her practice on immigration and estate planning.
