Scott M. Goldberg

Scott M. Goldberg, Esq. is the lead trial attorney in the personal injury department of Petrillo & Goldberg. He has been licensed to practice law since 1987 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, 3d Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. District Courts of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. He is a certified civil trial attorney in New Jersey, a designation he received in 2008 and was recertified in 2013 and 2018. He serves as a court-appointed arbitrator and a plaintiff's arbitrator. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice.

Steven Petrillo

Steven Petrillo is a lifetime Pennsauken resident and a founding partner of Petrillo and Goldberg Law. He graduated Pennsauken High School in 1976 and Dartmouth College with high academic honors. He attended Boston College Law School and graduated Rutgers College Law School in 1983. He founded his own law firm in 1985, emphasizing personal injury litigation. He served as Pennsauken Township Committeeman, Public Safety Director, Deputy Mayor, and Mayor for 17 years, and was elected Camden County Freeholder in 1992. He also served in the New Jersey State Assembly and is currently a Municipal Court Judge for the Township of Pennsauken. He is the author of the firm’s 'team approach' to personal injury claims.

Scott D. Schulman

Scott Schulman joined Petrillo & Goldberg in 1995 as an associate and became a partner in 2004. He practices in motor vehicle, premises liability, product liability, and workers’ compensation litigation. He is responsible for the workers’ compensation litigation department and manages the Pennsylvania personal injury litigation department. He has obtained favorable jury verdicts and successfully litigated numerous workers’ compensation claims. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, and Georgia State Bar Association.

Robert Goldberg

Robert Goldberg is an associate in Petrillo & Goldberg’s personal injury department, focusing on motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. He has experience in landlord-tenant law, small claims, complex business litigation, and criminal law. He was a law clerk for the Honorable John Harrington. He is a graduate of Rutgers Law School in Camden, where he was on the trial advocacy team and the executive Board of the student chapter of the New Jersey Association for Justice. He is admitted to the New Jersey bar and is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Association for Justice.

Jeff Thiel

Jeff Thiel is an associate with Petrillo & Goldberg, concentrating his practice in motor vehicle, premises liability, and complex products liability claims. He handles the firm’s appellate practice, conducts depositions, performs legal research and writing, and argues motions in court. He also oversees Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims. He is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He graduated from Muhlenberg College in 1999 with a B.A. in English and earned his Law Degree in 2004 from Rutgers University in Camden. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Steven Petrillo Jr.

Steven Petrillo Jr. is a recent graduate with academic honors from Rutgers University Law School, bringing a scientific approach to law. He holds dual bachelor’s of science degrees with academic honors in biochemistry and psychology. He has worked in various capacities at Petrillo & Goldberg, from bookkeeping to medicolegal research, and is now an attorney with the firm under the tutelage of his father, Steven M. Petrillo, Sr.

Ronald Rubin

Ronald Rubin has joined Petrillo & Goldberg in an Of Counsel capacity, bringing nearly 50 years of experience in Civil, Family & Criminal law. He is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and approved to practice in Federal Court in multiple Districts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his undergraduate education at Temple University and his law degree from Rutgers University, where he received several awards for academic achievement. He is an active member of local and national legal groups and organizations.
