Nicole Crawford

Nicole Crawford began working for The Law Offices of Dale R. Gomes in January 2021. She started her career in personal injury and civil litigation in 2016 as a law clerk while attending law school at night, gaining experience on hundreds of cases. With Dale Gomes’ firm, Nicole has represented numerous clients in cases including car accidents, trip and falls, premises liability, product liability, dog bites, child sexual assault, and wrongful death, successfully pursuing over 100 cases throughout northern California. She graduated with honors from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology with an emphasis in Victimology from California State University, Fresno. Nicole is dedicated to helping clients understand the legal process and achieve the best possible results.

Dale R. Gomes

The firm’s founding attorney, Dale R. Gomes, Esq., graduated from Bethany College in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Theology. Four years later, Dale graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Mr. Gomes began his law practice at the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, specializing in litigating cases involving sexual assault and child abuse. In 2007, he joined the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office, continuing his career of exceptional trial advocacy in "special victim" cases. Dale has personally tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict in multiple Northern California jurisdictions. He is a dedicated and experienced trial attorney with more than 25 years of jury-trial experience, well prepared to take on insurance companies or aggressive prosecutors.

Crystal M. Center

Crystal Center is a civil litigator, business attorney, and licensed real estate broker. She is a thorough advocate for her clients, earning solid outcomes and negotiating agreements for property and business matters. Her diverse background includes experience as Deputy County Counsel for Placer County and a Sergeant in U.S. Army military intelligence.

Kevin A. James

Bill Clark

Bill Clark began his legal career as a Police Officer for 10 years in the Bay Area. He attended law school at night and later joined the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor, where he met Mr. Gomes. In 2006, he moved to the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office, working with Mr. Gomes for 14 years. After retiring, he spent two years representing public safety clients in Sacramento. Bill joined The Law Offices of Dale R. Gomes in January 2023 in an “Of Counsel” role. He is a lawyer with over 30 years of criminal law experience, assisting Mr. Gomes with criminal defense cases, including legal motions, client interviews, and court appearances. He is a close friend and dedicated to the firm's success.

Laura R. Nelson-Becker is a CA State Bar-Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. She provides high-level legal services with personal attention, counseling individuals and families in estate planning, trust and probate administrations, and representing clients in contested trust and estate matters.
