Kenneth C. Hensley is a partner who graduated from UMKC Law School in 1979 and attended graduate school at Yale University. He served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Clay County and as Special Prosecutor in several other counties. He has extensive experience in criminal defense, trying cases in municipal, state, and federal courts, including the Missouri Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

He has worked as a Juvenile Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Investigator, Polygraph Operator, Assistant Prosecutor and Federal Prosecutor. He is an experience trial attorney with over 30 years experience. Scott is a lifelong Cass County resident and graduate of Harrisonville High School. He attended Central Missouri State University where he earned a BS and Master’s degrees in Criminal Justice. He attended UMKC School of Law graduating in 1987. In 1989 he started his own law practice on the historic Harrisonville square and has now expanded to Butler and Raymore Missouri.

Tyler Friedrich
Tyler Friedrich grew up in Harrisonville, Missouri and attended High School in Harrisonville as well. He is a life long resident of Cass County. Mr. Friedrich went to University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri and received a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Law/Criminal Justice. Tyler then went on to attend Law School at University of Missouri - Kansas City. While attending law school he also worked for the Federal Public Defender’s office and the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office in Jackson County. Mr. Friedrich’s current focus is on litigation, specializing in criminal and civil defense. Tyler is married and now lives in Raymore, Missouri.

Nikolaus S. Busch
Nik Busch joined Hensley Law Office in 2019 after graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School in 2018. He previously worked in the UMKC Athletic Department for ten years.
