Jess represents clients in construction, personal injury, and tort suits. Prior to joining McCollum Crowley, Jess was the judicial law clerk for a district count judge in Mankato, Minnesota. There, Jess was exposed to all areas of law and, more importantly, recognized what judges expect from professional and skilled attorneys. Jess was raised in both Colorado and Minnesota, but has also lived in Rhode Island, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia. She attended college at CSU in Fort Collins and went on to graduate with honors from Emory law in Atlanta. Jess believes that the key to effective communication and trust with clients is the ability to relate and understand their concerns and her well-rounded background helps foster these relationships.

Brett R. Parnes

Brett was honored as PWC’s Outstanding Respondents’ Attorney (Winner 2024, Nominee 2013), and recognized in 2019 with a nomination for the Comp Laude Award as a top national workers’ compensation attorney. Timothy J. Fetterly

Tim followed his family’s tradition when he elected to pursue law as a career. In his first ten years of practice, Tim worked on major fire/explosion litigation throughout the country, including industrial manufacturing fires, warehouse fires, church fires, hotel fires, agricultural fires, mill explosions and single and multifamily dwelling fires and explosions. Tim appreciates the need for developing a case from the incident forward and is familiar with and has worked with some the best origin and cause experts, electric engineering experts, metallurgists, material scientists and fire protection engineers in the nation. Since joining McCollum Crowley years ago, Tim has continued to focus his practice on fire/explosion litigation including recent cases involving a CNG explosion at a national manufacturer of commercial vehicles resulting in multi-million dollar claims; a propane tank explosion resulting in multiple property damage claims; and another propane explosion at a lake cabin resulting in multiple fatalities and wrongful death claims. Tim’s practice also includes a variety of tort and contract litigation claims including construction, vaccine, and commercial transportation. Tim welcomes the challenge of creating “out-of-the-box” solutions for his clients.

Frederick M. Green

Fred graduated from The John Marshall Law School (now UIC John Marshall Law School). While in law school he served on the Moot Court Council. Fred represents employers and insurers in workers compensation claims. Fred brings over fifteen years of experience as an attorney. Ten years of his practice was as Field Legal Counsel for a large insurance company. As Field Legal Counsel Fred oversaw the company’s workers compensation resolution team where he was responsible for management and resolution of workers compensation claims for the entire state. In addition to management of those claims, Fred tried numerous workers compensation claims and has successfully represented employers and insurers in workers compensation appeals. Prior to joining McCollum Crowley Fred was employed as an attorney in County Government, serving as both in-house legal counsel and representing the Texas Department of Children and Family Services in Child Protective Services cases.
