Ryan Swancy

Ryan Shea Swancy is an attorney with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A. in Chester, South Carolina. He maintains a general practice with an emphasis on personal injury, criminal defense, and other civil litigation matters throughout the state of South Carolina. He is the current 6th Circuit Young Lawyers Division Representative for the South Carolina Bar as well as a member of the Chester County ECHO Coalition, Chester County Rotary, and Chester County Ducks Unlimited. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Brian Gibbons and served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Chester County Solicitor’s Office.

Everett Stubbs

Everett B. Stubbs, III is a partner with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A. with offices located in Chester, Richburg, and Winnsboro, South Carolina. He has a general practice with an emphasis on civil litigation in many counties throughout South Carolina. Mr. Stubbs is very active within the South Carolina Bar Association and in Chester County, serving as the Chester County Bar President. He was formerly the 6th Circuit Young Lawyer Division Representative of the South Carolina Bar and a former House of Delegates member of the South Carolina Bar. He is the former State Chairman of South Carolina Ducks Unlimited and has served on various community boards. He attended Lander University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and law school at Charlotte School of Law.

Croom Hunter

Croom Hunter is an attorney with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the Charleston School of Law. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for South Carolina, handling post-conviction relief cases and direct criminal appeals. He also served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Sixth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, prosecuting misdemeanors and felonies. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced construction law and professional malpractice. He has also served on the Planning Commission and as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Bill Marion

W.L.D. (Bill) Marion is a partner with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A. located in Chester, South Carolina. He has a general practice with an emphasis on real estate (residential and commercial), wills, and real estate litigation, primarily in the Counties of Chester, York, Union, Fairfield and Lancaster. He graduated from Chester Senior High School, Wofford College (Magna Cum Laude) and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been an agent for Chicago Title since 1994 and is the current President of the Chester County Historical Society.

Nathan Hinson

Nathan Hinson is an attorney with Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter & Swancy P.A., specializing in probate work and estate planning. Born and raised in Chester, South Carolina, he attended Chester Public Schools. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in political science with a minor in biology from Francis Marion University (Manga Cum Laude) and graduated from Liberty University School of Law. He has gained experience working in estate planning, real estate, probate, and civil matters.
