Jesse Gonzalez, founder of J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys, is always fighting tooth and nail for victims of personal injury accidents across the Valley. He recently had to fight a different, more personal, and nearly lethal battle with COVID-19 itself. He was born in McAllen, Texas on July 11, 1968. He worked as a migrant worker for 17 years. He graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American in 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Educational Administration in 1995. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2000. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2001. He has over 20 years of experience. He has won numerous awards from prestigious legal organizations and has been featured in many local and national lawyer magazines, news channels, and radio stations. He created digital legal services, a virtual consultation service that earned him a place in The National Law Journal’s 2021 Plaintiff’s Lawyers Trailblazers List. He is committed to excellence and is part of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Ruy Mireles, born in Canada to Mexican parents, was inspired by his grandfather, a judge in Monterrey, Mexico, to pursue law and help people. He earned a bachelor's degree in International Business from St. Edwards University and later a law degree and a master's in Global Energy, International Arbitration, and Environmental Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Initially working for firms representing transport carriers, insurance companies, hospitals, and doctors, he realized his true mission was to defend and protect his community, particularly Hispanics, in personal injury cases. His greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients regain health and secure economic benefits. He has been a member of the Texas Bar Association since 2004.

Martin L. Perez, born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, pursued Business Administration and Accounting at the University of Texas before discovering his passion for law during graduate studies at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. Motivated by a desire to help his community, he taught history and worked as an attorney in the Cameron County Department of Juvenile Justice and the Public Defender’s Office in Hidalgo County, representing indigent individuals. His experience in defense led him to personal injury law, where he has worked with Mario Davila for over 12 years, specializing in complex cases like trailer accidents. He is known for securing significant settlements and is driven by helping people resolve legal circumstances to improve their lives. He has been a member of the Texas Bar Association since 2004.

Mario Davila is a Texas-born attorney who began his legal career in 2000, gaining experience as a litigator in accident cases while still in law school. After obtaining his law degree in Texas in 2004, he established his own legal practice in Rio Grande Valley, focusing on representing Hispanic clients in personal injury cases such as car crashes, slip and falls, and more. He has successfully helped over 10,000 clients secure compensation. Recognizing the needs of the Hispanic community, he expanded his firm to include offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, Texas. He and his team are driven by the goal of achieving justice and compensation for clients involved in various accidents, including those involving automobiles, public transportation, and 18-wheelers.

Justin Stiel Davis moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 2009. He graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University as a triple major in Philosophy, English Literature and Language, and Finance, receiving Dean’s List and President’s List honors. He was a member of the Zeta Pi chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity, serving as scholastic chairman. He attended The University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the ADR Society. He graduated from law school in 2009 and interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for three months. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2012. He joined Dale & Klein in 2012, primarily practicing family law. In 2013, he practiced personal injury law with the Tijerina Legal Group. In 2014, he joined Farmers Insurance as in-house litigation counsel, and in 2018, he moved to Fred Loya Insurance. He has substantial jury trial experience. He is married to Dr. Kelli Anne Davis, Ph.D., a mathematics professor and college administrator at South Texas College, and they have two daughters. He believes in the importance of family, community service, and following passions. He has volunteered with the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen and the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, and served a 3-year term on the City of Edinburg Zoning Board of Adjustments.

Luis Fernando Baez is an attorney who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and South Texas College of Law in Houston. Inspired by his hardworking parents, he is dedicated to serving Hispanic families, helping them navigate legal processes and secure justice. He aims to break down barriers and fears clients may have regarding courts and large companies, ensuring they feel confident and knowledgeable throughout their cases. Carlos Martinez, born in Brownsville, Texas, developed an interest in investigations during high school, winning a research contest in 1991. He worked as a traffic accident supervisor before earning his law degree from Universidad Valle del Bravo in 2001. Initially practicing commercial law in Mexico, he later returned to Texas, assisting U.S. law firms with investigations of vehicle accidents in Mexico involving U.S. residents. This experience led him to specialize in accident cases, helping thousands secure compensation. In 2008, he joined Mario Davila Law Firm as 'of counsel' and later became the firm's Director of Negotiations. He is a member of the U.S.-Mexico Bar Association and has served as an advisor to Mexico's Senate of the Republic, bringing extensive experience in accident investigation and insurance negotiations to protect clients' interests.
