James W. McConkie is an experienced lawyer who grew up in New York City and London, England. He earned his law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Following graduation, he joined the staff of U.S. Congressman Gunn McKay (D. Utah), eventually becoming Chief of Staff.
