Robert S. Stephen
Mr. Robert S. Stephen is a 1993 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Suffolk Law School, where he graduated #1 in his class. He founded Stephen Law Group, PLLC in 2004. With over 25 years of experience, he focuses on Personal Injury and Car and Auto Accident cases in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. Durward Parkinson
Durward’s practice areas include: real estate and zoning, alternative dispute resolution, commercial litigation and municipal and land use law. He has represented municipalities, real estate developers and neighborhood groups in several high profile litigation matters. He has lectured extensively on land use regulations and is the editor of the training manual for governmental officials on this topic. He also provides training for municipal boards on their legal responsibilities. Durward has argued over 20 cases before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court including the widely published Wells Beach case. In addition to his civil law practice, Durward is a trained and experienced mediator. He works on a fixed fee or hourly basis with no charge for travel time. James Molleur
James Molleur is the founder of Molleur Law Office. He is a Certified Specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Jim was admitted to the Maine State Bar in 1979 and retired on December 31, 2021, after 42 years of practice.

William J. Gallitto III
As a member of the civil litigation practice group at Bergen Parkinson, William represents individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other business entities in a wide variety of civil litigation disputes. His practice primarily focuses on personal injury, employment, and estate/probate cases. William also has two niche specialty practice areas involving toxic torts (asbestos, mesothelioma and medical devices) and transportation/towing litigation cases. William’s distinct perspective as a litigator has been shaped by his work with judges, plaintiffs, and defendants. After graduating from law school, William served as a Judicial Fellow for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Superior Court, where he worked directly with a number of judges to draft written opinions, orders, jury instructions, memoranda, as well as conduct extensive legal research in a variety of civil and criminal cases. He also attended and assisted judges at pre-trial conferences, oral arguments and at trial. In addition to serving as a Judicial Fellow, William worked in Boston at one of New England’s largest plaintiff law firms, Thorton & Naumes, where he represented victims of toxic exposures, primarily victims of asbestos exposure who developed mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. William has tried a number of cases to decision, in both state and federal courts.

Michael W. Macleod-Ball
A founding member of the firm, Michael Macleod-Ball returned to Bergen & Parkinson in 2017 after more than a decade with a major national advocacy organization, where he managed a comprehensive federal civil rights and liberties advocacy program. Since his return, Michael continues to provide strategic management and policy guidance to not-for-profit advocacy organizations. He has also returned to his legal roots - serving as a trusted advisor to businesses and individuals on a wide range of commercial, corporate, and real estate matters.

Jana L. Kenney
A member of the firm’s litigation group, Jana returned to Bergen & Parkinson in 2023 after practicing in Portland, Maine, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and insurance defense. Now residing in Biddeford, Jana has moved her practice to York County where she represents a variety of clients in disputes involving estate/probate issues, property law, and general litigation. Jana takes a client-centered, pragmatic approach to reaching a resolution for each of the clients she represents. Jana graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where she was a legal writing teaching assistant and a member of the moot court team. A native of central Maine, Jana then clerked for the Maine Superior Court in Penobscot County before beginning her practice in southern Maine.
