John C. Austin
John C. Austin is a Tampa personal injury lawyer and co-founder of Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers. He is a native of Tampa Bay and a graduate of St. Petersburg High School (2000), the University of Florida (B.S. in Accounting, 2004), and Levin College of Law (J.D., 2008). He has extensive experience representing insurance companies and individuals in personal injury claims, including working as an in-house attorney for State Farm. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He has handled thousands of personal injury lawsuits, wrongful death claims, and tried numerous cases to verdict. He is an active runner, cyclist, and triathlete.

Miles Hickman
Miles Hickman is a Partner and Trial Attorney at Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers. He was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2014, followed by his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2017. He clerked for a prominent insurance defense firm and continued working there for the first six years of his career. He has handled all aspects of personal injury claims, from pre-suit negotiations to litigation and trial, serving as both first and second chair counsel. His long-term goal is to be a board-certified trial attorney.
