Less than 1% of all lawyers in the country are granted such membership. Michael has also earned an “AV Preeminent” rating in Martindale Hubbell. This rating is a testament to the fact Michael’s peers, those who work with him and those who have had to litigate against him, rank him at the highest level of professional excellence in terms of ability and ethical standards. Earlier in his career, Michael was named one of the Top 10 attorneys in his state under the age of 40 by the National Academy of Personal injury Attorneys. Michael has also received a “Superb” rating from AVVO, the highest rating possible. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice, American Association of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers, ABATE and both the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Michael works hard to protect his clients from insurance companies and their attorneys who force injured people to court to increase company profits instead of taking responsibility and paying valid claims. He was born in Chicago and graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2002. While in school, Michael studied civil litigation and trial work. He also studied at the National Sports Law Institute. Michael joined Kelly Law Offices in May 2003 and currently focuses his practice on trial work, including personal injury and wrongful death litigation, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury cases.
