John M. Blume

John M. Blume was the founder of the firm, joining his father Charles Blume in practice in 1956. He built a formidable plaintiff’s personal injury practice over nearly 60 years, representing clients in various difficult cases. He was a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and received numerous awards including from the Essex County Bar Association and Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. Norberto A. Garcia

TIMOTHY J. MCNICHOLS

Timothy J. McNichols is a lifelong Ocean County resident dedicated to serving the local community. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Monmouth University. He then graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 2010, where he was a teaching assistant, a Hunter Moot Court quarterfinalist, and a recipient of a top 10 brief award. He also received the William Kulp Jr. Memorial Scholarship, Certificates of Merit in Legal Research and Writing and Moot Court, First Year High Honors, and was named to the Dean’s List. Mr. McNichols has experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, professional liability, employment law, workers compensation, municipal court, and general litigation matters. He is an avid bagpiper with the Shamrock and Thistle Pipes and Drums of Ocean County.

Richard J. Albuquerque

Richard received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire in 1993 and earned a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1996. After working as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eugene D. Serpentelli, A.J.S.C., retired, for the 1996-1997 term, he joined the Atlantic City firm of Levine Staller Sklar Chan Brodsky & Donnelly, PA, where he remained until 2005. In January 2006, Richard joined the Law Office of Christopher M. Day, LLC as a partner and continued to focus his practice in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation. In 2008, the firm of D’Arcy Johnson Day was created where he is a shareholder. Richard is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by less than 2% of New Jersey attorneys. He is also a board-certified civil advocate, meeting the rigorous objective quality standards set forth by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Richard has been named a “Super Lawyer” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Richard has lectured to New Jersey attorneys in the areas of automobile insurance coverage and ethics for the National Business Institute, the New Jersey Association of Trial Lawyers, and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Allegheny College in 2006 and graduated cum laude from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2010. A Widener Scholar and Constitutional Law Scholar, he participated in the Moot Court Honor Society Competition, and attended the International Law Program at the University of Venice. Prior to entering private practice, Daniel served as a Special Deputy Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General, Casino Prosecutions Bureau in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Daniel has more than a decade of experience in commercial defense litigation, including workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense, construction litigation, and business litigation. As a member of D’Arcy Johnson Day’s Workers Compensation Department, he draws upon his extensive insurance defense background to help clients suffering from work-related injuries and illnesses pursue their claims for medical treatment, wage replacement, and other appropriate compensation. Daniel has been named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” from 2014 through 2023.
