Scott Blair is the founder of Brain Injury Law of Seattle. For 25 years, he has helped brain injury victims get specialized treatment. He is recognized for his pioneering work on pituitary injuries in brain injury cases and has trained legal and medical professionals. An accomplished trial lawyer, he has tried over 75 jury trials in his 34-year career and is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.

Cody Branstetter

Cody Branstetter is a Brain Injury and Trial Attorney. He joined Brain Injury Law of Seattle in early 2024. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Missouri State University and attended Baylor Law on a full academic scholarship, graduating in 2020. He previously helped people resolve property disputes, and disability and injury claims.

Gayline Vernon has over 30 years of experience as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant, starting with Scott Blair in 1994. She helps prepare cases for trial, mediation, and arbitration, and assists clients through the challenges of lawsuits and brain injury claims. She is known for her pleasant demeanor and is well-respected by court clerks, medical professionals, and defendant's paralegals.

Lisa Okimoto has 19 years of experience as a paralegal, dedicated to supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Her career began at her father’s Edmonds law firm, gaining insight into personal injury law. She also spent eight years in the tech industry, developing user-friendly solutions. She founded Paladin Paralegal, a virtual paralegal service company, helping people with personal injury claims. She combines her paralegal and IT skills to simplify complex processes for clients.

Blake Blair works as the Discovery and Technology manager for Brain Injury Law of Seattle. He assists the litigation team with discovery processes, eye-witness statements, incident site visits, and data analysis for trial preparation. He also manages trial presentation software. Blake graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a major in psychology and a minor in Business.

Emily Guerra has over 10 years of experience as a paralegal and legal assistant, specializing in brain injury, bodily injury, and workers' compensation cases. She conducts meticulous case investigations, gathers evidence, obtains medical records, and liaises with insurance companies. She is an enthusiastic outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking, national parks, kayaking, travel, and cultural exploration.

Teresita Chevez joined Brain Injury Law of Seattle in 2021. She has seven years of expertise in legal matters spanning immigration and personal injury law. She helps the pre-litigation team with ordering and gathering medical records and case development work. She moved to the Pacific Northwest from Miami, Florida.
