Gary L. Doehling

Gary Doehling, Founding Attorney (Of Counsel), brings over 40 years of experience, including 25 years defending insurance companies in personal injury litigation. He formed his own firm to help injury victims and has successfully represented clients in numerous trials and appeals across Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Gary L. Doehling

After defending insurance companies in personal injury litigation for 25 years, attorney Gary Doehling formed the Gary Doehling Personal Injury Law Firm, P.C. to help injury victims prosecute claims against insurance companies. Gary Doehling grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University College of Business in 1979 and received his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law in 1982. He moved to Grand Junction, Colorado after graduating from law school and had been a trial attorney in Western Colorado and Easter Utah until retiring in 2022. Mr. Doehling represented numerous insurance carriers including Allstate Insurance, American International Insurance Group, American Family Insurance, American States Insurance, Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Commercial Union Insurance Company, Farmers Insurance Group, Hartford Insurance Group, National Farmers Union Insurance Company, Trinity Universal Insurance Company, USAA, and USF&G. Mr. Doehling put this experience to work for the residents of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.

Joe Azbell

Attorney Joe Azbell is dedicated to providing clarity and confident advocacy to his clients. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 and the University of Wyoming Law School with honors in 2008. He began his legal career defending federal agencies in personal injury and employment law matters at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Wyoming. Since moving to Grand Junction in 2012, Joe has focused on representing clients against big businesses and insurance companies, handling cases involving automobile and truck crashes, premises liability, employment discrimination, and workplace injuries. He has obtained several trial victories, argued before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and secured one of the largest employment law verdicts on the Western Slope in 2015 for a pregnancy discrimination case.

In 2008, he graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School with honors. In 2012, he and his family decided to move to Grand Junction. Since moving to Grand Junction, Joe has focused his legal career on representing clients who have been wronged by big businesses and insurance companies. Joe previously owned his own firm, Azbell & Groves, LLC, and was a shareholder at a local personal injury firm. Since deciding to join Veritas Injury Lawyers, Joe’s practice has focused on cases involving automobile and truck crashes, premises liability cases, employment discrimination, and workplace injuries.

Keller A. Caubarreaux

Attorney Keller Caubarreaux joined the firm in early 2012 and has been a partner since 2017. He grew up in Dallas, Texas, and after graduating from the University of Tulsa College of Law, Keller came to Colorado to begin his legal career. His practice focuses on personal injury cases including automobile collisions, pedestrian cases, truck crashes, premise liability, wrongful death, dog bites, and skier collisions. He is known for producing meaningful settlements and is prepared for trial. He has successfully represented clients across Colorado and Utah. Keller is actively involved in the local community, serving as Mesa County Bar President, volunteering on non-profit boards, and teaching law at Colorado Mesa University.

Attorney Keller Caubarreaux joined the firm in early 2012 and has been a partner since 2017. Keller originally grew up in Dallas, Texas, and after graduating from the University of Tulsa College of Law, Keller came to Colorado to begin his legal career.
