Richard M. Bogoroch

Richard M. Bogoroch is the founder and managing partner of Bogoroch & Associates LLP with over 40 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. He is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Civil Litigation since 1993. Richard graduated from McGill University Law School with a B.C.L. in 1978 and an LL.B. in 1979. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1980 and the Ontario Bar in 1983. He completed the Harvard Mediation Workshop in 1995. He has held various leadership roles including Director of the Ontario Centre for Advocacy Training, Director of The Advocates’ Society (1994-98), and Chair of the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario Provincial Committee on the Judiciary. He is also a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Richard has lectured and written extensively on personal injury, brain injury, medical malpractice, and chronic pain litigation. He was Co-Chair of The Advocates’ Society annual Personal Injury Program, Tricks of the Trade (2011-14), and has chaired or co-chaired the Annual Update in Personal Injury Litigation by Osgoode Hall Law School’s Professional Development Program since 2005. He was appointed to the Patented Medicines Prices Review Board (PMPRB) from 2013-2016. In 2015, he received the Dean Edgell Award from the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. In 2023, he was elected a Fellow, Litigation Counsel of America. He has been recognized as a leading personal injury lawyer by the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.

Nicole Corriero

North York, ON

Mary Nicole Corriero graduated from Harvard University with Cum Laude Honours in Sociology in 2005 and obtained her joint 'JD/LLB' degree from the Universities of Windsor and Detroit Mercy in 2008. She was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2009 and the Law Societies of Alberta and British Columbia in 2017. Nicole's legal career has been devoted to advocating for injured Plaintiffs in Personal Injury Lawsuits, Benefit Tribunal Appeals, or Wrongful Dismissal suits. She has successfully represented clients at various Administrative Tribunals, the Divisional Court, and the Superior Court of Justice. In 2018, she received the Martin Wunder Q.C. award for Outstanding New Lawyer. Nicole has argued precedent-setting Statutory Accident Benefits cases and highly successful Jury trial verdicts. She serves as the Executive Director for the Players Association of the Premier Hockey Federation and is a Part-Time Professor with the Humber College Faculty of Law. Nicole is an active member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Advocates' Society.

Joseph Miller, Q.C.

Toronto, ON

Joseph Miller, Q.C., a founding member of the Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance, has focused his practice on medical malpractice cases since 1991, with a special interest in birth trauma. He has litigated numerous medical malpractice claims in Alberta, including a birth injury case that resulted in the largest personal injury award by an Alberta court. Recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, he was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2010 and received the Gary J. Biggs Champion of Justice Award in 2011. He is also a member of the Litigation Counsel of America.

Teresa H. Park

Teresa H. Park is a partner at the Toronto office of Iacobelli Law Firm, practicing in personal injury law and employment & labour law. She is the founding lawyer of the firm's Toronto office and employment law practice. Teresa obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science from York University, graduating summa cum laude. She was awarded the Gina Feldberg Prize and the Ellen Baar Award. During law school, she was Executive Chair of Pro Bono Students Canada (Osgoode Chapter) and a law student caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services. Prior to joining Iacobelli Law Firm, Teresa practiced at an insurance defence boutique, gaining extensive litigation experience in personal injury and insurance matters. Tracy A. Hodge

Sangin (Sam) Safi

Sangin (Sam) Safi founded Safi Law Group in 2019 after practicing law at two general practice law firms in Edmonton and area. Prior to law school, Sam worked as an auditor and an appeals officer for the Canada Revenue Agency. He has also spent some time working in the insurance industry and retail sales. After several years of maintaining a general practice, Sam now focuses almost exclusively on personal injury law, with a special interest in motor vehicle accident claims. Sam is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association, and Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and a regular attendee at Legal Education Society of Alberta seminars. Sam was also previously a sessional instructor at MacEwan University and taught Introductory Business Law in the School of Business.
