Mark Joye

Christopher Pracht

Christopher Pracht has represented families suffering from the loss of loved ones for over fourteen years. After graduating Cum Laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2008, Christopher accepted a clerkship with the Honorable J. Cordell Maddox of the South Carolina Circuit Court. Upon completing his clerkship, Christopher founded his law practice in August 2009 in Anderson, South Carolina. Over the past fifteen years, Christopher has represented clients in various courts throughout South Carolina, including but not limited to, the Court of Common Pleas, the Court of General Sessions, the Summary Court, the Municipal Court, and the Magistrate’s Court. Christopher has participated in appeals before the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals. In 2013, Christopher became the founding partner of Thomason and Pracht, LLP where he continued to focus his practice on his passion for Wrongful Death and Catastrophic Injury cases. Over the past fifteen years, Christopher has achieved well over 70,000,000 dollars in verdicts and settlements for his various clients. In July of 2022, Christopher along with Co-Counsel Cooper Wilson and Mullins McLeod obtained a 20,730,000-dollar verdict for the wrongful death of Zerihun Wolde. This is believed to be the largest wrongful death verdict in the history of Horry County, South Carolina. Horry County is a conservative venue not known for returning multi-million-dollar verdicts. Additionally, Christopher has handled Wrongful Death cases outside of South Carolina including, but not limited to, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alaska. Julio A. Rossington

Julio A. Rossington is the principal of Rossington Law Offices, LLC, a dynamic and client-focused litigation practice located in Summerville, South Carolina. Alejandro Guarin

Alejandro Guarin is an attorney at Pracht Injury Lawyers who focuses his practice on representing clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others. A native of Barranquilla, Colombia, Alejandro moved to the United States at the age of 12, where he made Anderson, South Carolina his home. Since moving to the United States, Alejandro has understood the inequities that underrepresented people suffer and strives each day to “make things right” through his legal work. Alejandro attended Mercer University School of Law, where he finished in the top 15% of his class and was a member of Mercer’s Law Review Editorial Board, Mock Trial, and Arbitration teams. He also served as the president of the Hispanic Law Student Association, where he advanced the interest of Hispanic students in law school. During law school, Alejandro received a wide array of awards which include the Solicitor award for his outstanding work in Mercer’s Arbitration team and received awards for obtaining the highest grade in his class in Contracts I, Secured Transactions, Torts II, and Remedies. Alejandro was also inducted into the Order of the Scribe, which is given to the top legal writers in each class at Mercer. In 2025, he was published in the Young Lawyers Division Review by the Georgia State Bar. Before law school, Alejandro attended the University of South Carolina, where he was a founding member of South Carolina’s chapter of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first Latino fraternity in the state of South Carolina. Prior to joining Pracht Injury Lawyers, Alejandro worked in Atlanta at one of the biggest insurance defense firms in the state of Georgia. There, he learned the ins and outs of how insurance companies and defense lawyers evaluate their cases, which he uses to this day to represent those who have been hurt by others. Alejandro is an avid gamer and enjoys playing video games in his free time. He also enjoys exercising and playing soccer in remembrance of his long-gone collegiate soccer days.

Ramie Shalabi

Ramie Shalabi practices personal injury and workers’ compensation law. He was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina and earned his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. He started his legal career as a prosecutor at the Richland County Solicitor’s Office, then practiced at an insurance defense law firm, and now represents injured individuals in personal injury and workers' compensation cases, having recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

Matthew W. Jackson

Matthew W. Jackson heads the Workers’ Compensation Department at Joye Law Firm, handling all cases under the state Workers’ Compensation Act. He is known for his compassionate approach, aiming to ease clients' fears and stress by taking on the burden of their legal issues. He makes two promises: to work hard and always tell the truth, ensuring clients feel cared for and understood. His compassion and empathy inspired him to become an attorney, and he believes in doing the right thing in every situation.
