John T. Carter, III
I was born and raised in Jacksonville and am a lifelong resident of Onslow County. I have been in general practice for eighteen years with the firm Lanier Fountain & Ceruzzi. My practice is focused primarily on assisting clients with traffic related matters and driving while impaired charges, as well as criminal defense of misdemeanor and felony offenses at both the District and Superior Court levels. In addition, I provide legal services relating to juvenile matters, expunctions, personal injury cases, simple wills, and uncontested divorces and separation agreements. I am an active member in good standing with the Onslow County and North Carolina Bar Associations.

John W. Ceruzzi
John received his B.A. in Economics and History from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in all North Carolina Courts since 1997, and has since been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. John is an experienced civil litigator and criminal defense attorney, having devoted the first twenty years of his practice to trying cases before judges and juries throughout multiple counties in eastern North Carolina, though primarily in his home county of Onslow. He is also a former President of the Onslow County Bar Association. I received my certification from the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to serve as a Family Financial Meditator. A former college soccer player at Wake Forest, John is still actively involved in his community through his participation as an academy soccer coach for the Onslow Classic Soccer Association. John is married with three children and three granddaughters.

Keith E. Fountain
Born in Jacksonville, NC to a family with long established ties to the area, I have been a managing partner in the firm since 1980. My practice is primarily found on real estate matters, both commercial and residential, business matters, and estate planning. I have procured jury awards in real estate matters resulting in multi-million dollar recovery for my client.

J. Andrew Lanier
I grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2010 B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Minor in History. I attended law school at Charlotte School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 2014 and passed the North Carolina Bar Exam that same year. After passing the bar and becoming licensed, I moved back to Jacksonville, NC to begin work at Lanier, Fountain & Ceruzzi, a firm founded by my father, to continue the family's legal legacy as a third generation lawyer. I enjoy helping clients resolve their legal issues by providing a combination of legal and practical advice so clients can resolve their legal issue and, hopefully, avoid problems in the future. These problems cover various fields of law to include, but not limited to, general civil law, criminal law (misdemeanors/felonies), commercial/business transactions, real estate (residential & commercial), incompetency/guardianship, contracts/contract disputes, domestic violence protective orders, restraining orders, boundary line disputes, material-men/mechanic's liens, debt collection, traffic violations, and DWI.

B. Camden Caprara
My name is Basil Camden Caprara, and I am an attorney currently practicing in Onslow County, North Carolina. I was born in Vicenza, Italy, as a result of my father being in the military, but however, shortly after my birth, we moved back to eastern North Carolina where both of my parents were from. I attended Arendell Parrott Academy in Kinston, NC, from Kindergarten through Graduation (13 years). Upon my graduation, I was accepted into University of North Carolina - Wilmington, from which I later received my bachelor's degree, with honors, in Criminology, with a focus on Criminal Justice, and a dual English and History minor. I was accepted into Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and began law school in August of 2018, just after getting awarded my undergraduate degree in May. I received my law degree in the Spring of 2021 and sat for the Uniform Bar Exam that summer. I received a grade on the bar exam high enough to authorize me to practice in any of the states that have adopted the uniform bar exam, which includes North Carolina. I currently practice primarily domestic/family law which includes divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and other domestic actions. I also do quite a bit of court appointed work, both in Onslow and Jones County, by serving as a Parent-Defender attorney in Juvenile Abuse/Neglect/Dependency cases and a court appointed attorney for child support contempt matters. In further service to the community, I am also a court-appointed guardian ad litem for incompetency proceedings involving adults who lack capacity to care for themselves. In my free time, I like to enjoy time with my long-term girlfriend, Sierra; I also enjoy bowling, cooking (in all forms, shapes, and sizes), and reading, along with spending time with the rest of my family.
