Rob Moseley

Rob Moseley's entire practice is focused on the transportation and logistics industry. He has tried over 80 cases to jury verdict in federal and state courts and has decades of experience representing trucking companies, brokers, logistics providers, and their insurance carriers in disputes involving commercial transportation accidents, federal and state safety regulations, freight claims, and insurance coverage disputes. He serves as national counsel for several insurance companies and motor carriers, managing active litigation across multiple states. Rob also specializes in transportation contracting, reviewing and drafting shipping contracts and tariffs, and defending brokers in negligent selection cases. He advises trucking companies on risk assessment, growth planning, and managing independent contractor relationships and federal regulations. Before private practice, he clerked for Judge Joseph F. Anderson Jr. on the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Robb Brown

Robb Brown is an experienced litigator who has represented insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury, property damage, and commercial coverage cases. He has successfully tried over 50 cases to verdict across South Carolina and represented large national insurance companies. At Moseley Marcinak, Robb focuses on civil litigation, representing trucking companies, their drivers, logistics companies, and their insurance providers. Before private practice, he served as an Assistant Attorney General under Henry McMaster. He is also a Certified Mediator in South Carolina State Courts and the South Carolina District Court, and an active member of the South Carolina Bar, serving on the House of Delegates.

Donavan K. Eason

Donavan Eason provides expert legal guidance and strategic advice to businesses in the transportation, logistics, and insurance industries. With a focus on helping clients navigate complex regulations, manage risks, and resolve disputes, Donavan’s practice emphasizes building strong, long-term relationships to support business growth and ensure future preparedness. This work spans defending businesses against negligence claims, challenging regulatory enforcement, resolving contract disputes, and everything in between. In the regulatory space, Donavan works closely with company leaders, government agencies, and other stakeholders to address misunderstandings, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and develop practical solutions that benefit both businesses and regulators. His approach is rooted in years of experience working at the intersection of law, policy, and the judiciary-having served as legislative counsel in the Georgia Senate, as a senior policy advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, and as a judicial clerk in both state and appellate courts. These roles instilled in him a deep understanding of how legal decisions are made, how policies take shape, and how businesses can effectively navigate both. Donavan’s understanding of the industry traces back to his roots in Rochelle, Georgia. Both of his parents were school bus drivers, and his grandfather owned a propane business, delivering to customers across South Georgia. These experiences gave Donavan an appreciation for the challenges faced by transportation professionals and the critical role they play in keeping goods and people moving-a process that, while simple in spirit, can be anything but in practice.

Blair Cash

Blair Cash focuses his practice on commercial vehicle and motor carrier liability, handling accident litigation and complex multi-defendant wrongful death cases in all Georgia state and federal courts. He is General Counsel to the Georgia Motor Trucking Association (GMTA) and an active member of TIDA and GDLA. He has been published in the DRI Trucking Law Committee’s Newsletter and gives numerous CLE presentations on topics like Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Law, Ethics in Claims Handling, and Bad Faith Claims. He also provides continuing education seminars to industry clients on commercial and common carrier liability, automobile liability, dram shop liability, and ethics. He has been recognized as a Rising Star in Georgia by Atlanta Magazine from 2018 to 2024.

C. Fredric Marcinak

Fredric Marcinak has nearly 20 years of experience representing transportation companies, including carriers and intermediaries, in casualty/accident and commercial litigation matters. His expertise covers cargo/freight claims, collections/contract disputes, FMCSA and state regulatory compliance, permitting, and insurance coverage cases. He has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict and handled appeals for transportation clients. Fredric also assists with general business matters such as independent contractor leasing, workers' compensation, regulatory compliance, safety issues, and contracting. Before private practice, he clerked for Judge Dennis W. Shedd (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit) and Judge Henry F. Floyd (U.S. District Judge, District of South Carolina).

G. Tom Chase

Tom Chase is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 25 years of litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has tried well over 50 cases to verdict in his career and argued multiple appeals before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. In his practice he represents clients in a variety of businesses and practice areas. He represents motor carriers, drivers and logistics providers in civil litigation, including advising transportation clients on catastrophic injury and fatality matters and property damage cases and in general corporate matters. He also represents insurance companies on coverage matters, including bad faith litigation. Additionally, Tom represents businesses and individuals in construction, collections, products liability, consumer protection, premises liability and general business liability matters. In addition to his litigation experience, Tom has substantial experience in corporate matters, including establishing best practices and contracting, having previously practiced as General Counsel for a consumer products distribution and third-party logistics company in the upstate of South Carolina. This experience gives him unique insight in handling issues that can arise in the daily operation of client businesses as well as litigated matters. He began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for South Carolina and later served as a Deputy Solicitor for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Lexington, South Carolina, where he led criminal prosecutions and the Capital Prosecutions Unit. He went on to become a partner at a regional insurance defense firm and also practiced as General Counsel at WYNIT Distribution, LLC. While in law school, he was a member of the Environmental Law Journal and the recipient of the Pro Bono Award.

J. Alex Timmons

Alex Timmons focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation representing motor carriers, drivers and logistics providers in personal injury, property damage, and complex litigation. He also represents clients in insurance coverage and contract disputes. He regularly defends clients against tort and contractual claims, including personal injury and premises liability. Alex is a member of Moseley Marcinak’s Emergency Response Team. When an accident happens, Alex responds immediately to guide clients and drivers through the first 24 hours post-accident. In addition to providing these Emergency Response services, Alex creates and maintains close contacts with clients throughout litigation and beyond. He has tried more than 25 cases to verdict across South Carolina.
